What are people saying about Athens

Absolutely worthwhile and delightful.
So worthwhile! Our understanding and appreciation for modern and ancient Athens in architecture, history, and culture were all profoundly enriched by Aristotle's guidance, knowledge, and love for his home. We took advantage of everything Aristotle offered, trusted his suggestions, and couldn't have had a better day.

8am Acropolis and Museum Tour
I took the 8am tour with Iris. Even at that hour, the site is quite busy. We had individual headphones which worked well. The route up to the site is a bit of a climb involving uneven ground, but Iris paced the walk well, stopping to point out interesting things along the way, such that even the oldest member of the group was able to keep up without issue. Iris was clear, easy to understand, marshalled the group well, and had lots of interesting history to tell us about. I was glad I had her in the museum, as I think I otherwise would have found it a bit dry, but she was able to take us through the interesting bits, and then afterward, we had time to look around. A well paced tour which I'm glad I did.

Best food tour and tour operator
This was one of the best food tours ever. Our guide, Dimitra, was very personable and friendly. She provided some history during our walk and took us to some of her favorite stops. You will not be hungry after so make sure you come with an empty stomach. The tour provided a good option of foods that most anyone would eat. I would do this again and recommend to anyone!!

Excellent tour of Athens
Mattia was an outstanding guide and driver for our Athens tour. He was incredibly knowledgeable and did a fantastic job bringing historical and cultural context to the sites we visited, which made the experience much more meaningful. The tour company’s communication was also excellent from the time we booked through the completion of the tour — clear, responsive, and professional throughout. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Athens.

Must do Tour
The Acropolis is a must do tour. Know in advance, it is up hill, crowded and can be slippery in places. Our tour guide, Jordan was amazing! His knowledge of the architecture, history and culture was very interesting. His other stories were also enjoyable. We would highly recommend this tour. Well worth the time and the money.

Private tour feeling like a VIP with Nikolas
We had the best experience ever and the price was fair for the service we got! We booked the full day private tour of Athens. Our driver, Nikolas, made it feel so easy and so familiar, we felt like being shown around by an old friend. Not only did he drive us around, but he also added some information about architecture and history as he's passionate about both; he suggested us some exclusive spots to go to and planned the tour wisely according to traffic and crowds. He was the most polite, caring and attentive, left us enough time to see all attractions and this really made the atmosphere unique.
If we ever come back to Athens, we want to be on his team! He's the very best!
Highly recommended!

Great tour of a must-see attraction
This was a good and thorough tour of the Acropolis. We went for a late afternoon tour to avoid some of the morning crowds. The guide made sure the group all was with her at each step of the way, as it could be easy to wander off and be left behind. Going to the museum after the acropolis is a great way to really round out the visit. Going to the acropolis is a must-do part of visiting Athens, and this tour gives you a great guide and thorough tour.

Do It!
This was an excellent experience! Of course nice weather makes everything better. The boat was very comfortable - not your typical touring boat but a tall masted sail boat with plenty of room. The crew was very good and the food served for lunch was fantastic! The food options and taste well exceeded our expectations. The island of Agistri was very quaint and not crowded, unlike Aegina which was very active with people, local and tourist. I would highly recommend this excursion!

A perfect evening in Athens
I was worried initially given it was a colder day with rain. The tour guide Roy ensured it would still be a lovely trip and I decided to take the chance and book the tour and I am beyond glad I did!
The tour offered easy to access locations for pick up as the bus was to large for the air bnb I was staying at. Pick up was delayed a few minutes due to traffic but it was smooth sailing the entire drive.
The first stop was a beautiful lake that if I had more time I would spend a day there swimming and eating at the restaurant. The crystal blue water was so inviting and the views surrounding the lake were gorgeous. This was a quick stop with some history and time for pictures.
The next stop was an hour and twenty minutes we could swim, eat, grab a drink, or explore. The bar we stopped at served great food and a delicious cocktail called the windmill. The service was a bit slow but that was because 4 minibus full of people all showed up in succession. You could eat inside ir across the street they had beach seating. We stayed in and enjoyed the costal view and chatted with some of our fellow travelers. The meat tray for 2 was perfect allowing samples of all the items we wanted to try. Reasonably priced for the quality and quantity we recieved. After this stop we still had time to explore the beach and get some pictures.
Before arriving to the temple of Poseidon, there was on additional photo stop where we learned more history about the temple.
The temple itself was atop a hill with a plateau that provided breathtaking views of islands, bays, ports, and the towns along each. There was a restaurant, souvenir shop, and small museum shop for those who did not want to walk up the moderate incline and walkway to the temple. Viator warns ahead of time but know the entrance fee is 20 euro each cash or card. The cost of admission was well worth the upclose view of the temple and the trails on the grounds leading up. This was a perfect location for a sunset evening. The only improvement could have been a warmer evening but the weather despite being cold held off rain and provided breathtaking views and photos.
10/10 found this tour a phenomenal value. Also of note food was a recommendation not included but given the price of the tour absolutely appropriate to do food on our own especially when being taking directly to a great option.

Blown Away
This was such an informative tour. Our guide Ava was extremely knowledgeable, passionate and thoughtful in her presentation of all the history of the Acropolis and tied that together with the Acropolis Museum, which was amazing. We would highly recommend!

A great day trip from Athens
Fantastic trip to Delphi. Elizabeth was a wonderful guide with a wealth of information as an archaeologist. We didn’t realize how much training these guides had to undergo and appreciated how much more we got out of the visit thanks to her. It was about 70 degrees F and sunny — a beautiful day. We were glad it wasn’t any hotter. Definitely recommend a wide-brimmed hat to protect your face and neck. Also bring sunscreen and water. We chose to climb up to the stadium, and it was well worth it. The water came in very handy after that trek. We also loved the little village where we were taken for lunch. We chose to not purchase the included lunch and found a place on our own. There are plenty of choices, many of which were much quieter which was more to our liking. We also recommend climbing to the top of the clock tower after lunch for spectacular views and photos. So far, this tour was a highlight of our trip.

3 Island Cruise
Pack towels and bathing suits. Breakfast lunch and snack available. Lots of shopping opportunities. Pick up delicious pistachio products from Agaena or Pistachio Island. It's cold and windy on the trip back especially if you are going to sit outside. They have thin blankets so you may need extra things to stay warm. Have fun.
