Great tour.

Tour guide Ahmet was great. Friendly and very knowledgeable. English was very easy to understand. Very new van with great AC. Driver picked up and dropped off in such a way that unnecessary walking was minimized. Everything was included such as museum tickets and a delicious lunch. Very flexible itinerary. My entire family was delighted with this tour and especially tour guide Ahmet.

Wonderful experience! I'd never had a private tour before so when I realized that my friend and I had a tour guide and a driver to ourselves I felt so special. Pickup from the cruise port was smooth and on time. Our guide Yasmine gave excellent commentary while we drove to our first stop, the excavation site of Ephesus. The tour was billed as a biblical tour and Yasmine said they offered biblical tours, but apparently this was not. Even so, I enjoyed the historical and archaeological information. The Ephesus site was crowded, but Yasmine knew the typical rhythms of the crowds and helped us to avoid them as much as possible. Then we went to the Basilica of St. John with a final stop at the Virgin Mary house which was underwhelming. We went for tasty lunch during which we paid Yasmine for the entry fees. The lunch took place at a complex where handmade rugs were woven and sold. After lunch, Yasmine took us for the "introduction." At that time, I knew we were in for a high-pressure sales pitch from the rug sellers. The cost of this excursion was so low that I knew Yasmine must be working on commission. But I was so satisfied with the tour that I bought a rug for her sake. A lovely, yet expensive souvenir of Türkiye. Take the tour. If you don't want a rug, don't enter the showroom.

Ephesus private tour is the way to go.

Gulsah was a great guide for this tour. We were able to get into Ephesus right as it opened to beat some of the crowds and heat. It was the highlight of the tour. We had to go through a Turkish carpet making place which was beautiful and interesting but then enjoyed an authentic farm to table lunch there. If you are interested in ancient history this is the tour to book. We were cruise passengers and they worked around our schedule. We are so glad we didn’t do a big bus tour as it would’ve been miserable. This private tour is the way to go!

The absolute best experience with Tansu!!!

This excursion was PHENOMENAL from the very beginning. Tansu was amazing, kind, and patient!!! As a single mom solo traveling with her family, she made us comfortable from the very first introduction and tailored every detail of our trip to exactly what we wanted and expected. Everyone she introduced us to along the way (carpet makers, leather factory [by request]) were kind and helpful. She not only made us feel safe and returned us to port with plenty of time for more shopping but her knowledge of all the ruins and historic sites was incredible. Her personality was soft and radiating kindness. If you are able to request her, I highly suggest you do so!! Would do this trip 1000x over as Turkey was by far our favorite port stop!!!

An Awesome Tour

We had a wonderful Ephesus tour and lunch experience through Turquesa Tours. Very professionally run. Loved the WhatsApp message to remind us of the tour, person to contact when we walk out of the cruise terminal if we don’t see our names/tour guide and also allowing us to communicate with them efficiently. Our guide, Ibrahim Battal, was absolutely amazing. He was warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, bringing the history of Ephesus to life with fascinating insights and engaging stories. As a person born in Selcuk, his passion for the region and attention to detail made the tour both educational and enjoyable. Our driver, Ismail Sonmez, was equally excellent. He was friendly, patient, and professional throughout the day. We always felt safe and comfortable as he drove us between sites, and his courteous manner added to the overall positive experience. The lunch was also very enjoyable and complemented a fantastic day of sightseeing. We highly recommend this tour and would like to thank both Ibrahim and Ismail for making our visit to Ephesus so memorable. Five stars!

Incredible Time Exploring Kusadasi

Absolutely incredible day spent exploring Kusadasi with our own guide. Huseyin was great and very informative! Being able to find our guide and get out of the crowds when we got off the cruise ship was key. The tour came with a guide and driver which was very nice. Ephesus is a must visit and a private tour makes it that much better, well worth the price. We enjoyed the carpet and leather factory just be clear if you’re not interested in purchasing. Overall a really great day and one of our favorite port stops! Couldn’t recommend this tour more!

Great tour with a ton of information! Our guide, Hussein, was so knowledgeable and kind. I would highly recommend this tour! Be aware that it can get quite hot in this area. If you’re sensitive to heat…bring a hat, umbrella, fan, water. Vehicle had comfortable a/c while traveling!

The tour was informative, insightful & inspiring. Our guide, Zafer, is a wonderful, accommodating person. The tour of the ancient city of Ephesus was very interesting. The House of Virgin Mary was moving. We stopped for some traditional Turkish food & beer which tasted fantastic. The stop at a Turkish rug weaver & ceramic shop was eye opening. Cem is a gem!

Cem (pronounced “gem”) was an excellent tour guide! He was friendly and knowledgeable. We visited Ephesus and toured the ancient city and terrace houses, which should not be missed! We added a stop at the House of the Virgin Mary, and Cem and the tour company were easy to work with in making the change to the itinerary. We also stopped at the Temple of Artemis and had lunch and a rug tour which was fascinating! We would definitely highly recommend this tour and specifically Cem!

Mary's home and Ephesus are must see if youre traveling to the area. To have a personal guide through it was absolutely amazing. Adam was a wealth of knowledge and kept us entertained as well. We really enjoyed going to the carpet making school & of course had to buy one too! Our driver and Adam were kind enough to take us to an extra place where we loaded up on Turkish delight. I thoroughly enjoyed this trip!
