Three Perfect Days in Croatia Thanks to Kristina

We just spent 3 incredible days in Dubrovnik with our guide, Kristina, and we cannot recommend her enough! From the moment we met her, she was warm, professional, knowledgeable, and so much fun to be around. Kristina has an amazing understanding of Croatia’s history and culture, and she shared it with such passion throughout our tours. On our first day, she took us on the Montenegro and Bosnia tour, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. She also recommended fantastic restaurants where we enjoyed authentic local cuisine. When our scheduled tour was unexpectedly canceled the following day, Kristina immediately arranged another unforgettable experience for us. We wanted to try the famous fresh oysters of Ston, so she organized a boat trip with Mario, who shucked oysters straight from the sea onto our platter and served us homemade wine that complimented the oysters beautifully. It was one of the freshest and most unique experiences we’ve ever had! Kristina translated everything for us effortlessly. Her English is excellent. She truly went above and beyond during our entire stay. She took over 100 photos for us, captured so many special moments, and kept us laughing the entire time with her wonderful sense of humor. By the end of the trip, she felt more like a good friend than just a guide. To make things even more special, Kristina personally picked us up the next morning and brought us to the ferry for Hvar. Saying goodbye was honestly difficult because we had grown so attached to her in just a few days. We also had the pleasure of meeting her husband, Josip who is also a guide and made a special trip to meet us. He was equally kind and welcoming. Thank you, Kristina and Josip, for making our time in Croatia so unforgettable. Hvala! We recommend you to anyone visiting Dubrovnik and beyond.

Fun experience with Matteo

Had a great time with Matteo! He was on time when he picked us up outside of Old Town. We were very comfortable in the van (fyi, my husband and I usually get motion sickness during rides but we never did!). He drives fast wasting no time, and we got to the sites early (including the passport/border), beating the crowds. He is very familiar with the roads/route! Also, I was SO HAPPY we stopped at Medjugorje, brief it may be but it meant so much! I felt bad for not choosing a tour there because I did not see any availability that combines it with Mostar, hence I chose this tour…until Matteo asked if we want to stop by. Of course I said “YES!” right away! And my heart was full thereafter! We didn’t have time to climb the apparition hill but I was able to visit the Church of the Virgin Mary, and also see the Statue of Jesus in the garden (weeping knees)! The Kravića falls was beautiful, did not swim but had plenty of time for photos! Then the famous bridge in Mostar! We had plenty of time to explore it ourselves. We didn’t have a walking tour, but thought the overview we had during the ride was quite sufficient! Probably if we stayed there overnight we would hire a walking tour guide. Overall, we had fun together with the other passengers. We were a small group (6 adults) and that was good.

Lovely tour!

We had a fantastic tour with Maro, was just me and my husband so it was great! Maro was so interesting and gave us lots of historical details as we moved through the tour, took us to some fabulous spots and just made it such a great experience. We did our tour later in the day so anyone doing the same I would advise taking some warm clothes just in case you get cold (they helpfully have blankets too if needed!) Well worth it and a lovely way to see Debrovnik.

Game of Thrones filming secrets exposed.

A wonderful experience with (Joseph). Very experienced guide full of great stories about the filming of game of thrones as well as general knowledge of the old town of Dubrovnik. He clearly enjoyed his tour guide job and showed a lot of interest in the people on the tour, asking about where they were from, reasons for visiting etc. a very engaging guide. Amazing way to see Dubrovnik!

Fran was a great guide, taking our group of 3 kayaks (6 people) around to Lokrum Island and a beautiful cave where he provided snorkeling equipment for us. Too cold for me, but my husband enjoyed it! Beware that you will get wet in the kayak, likely up to your waist, as the wake from passing boats splashes in. Be prepared and wear a bathing suit, even if you don’t intend to swim.

Great trip to Montenegro and get a flavor or this beautiful small country.

A good option from Dubrovnik to see the coast of Montenegro. Ana, our tour guide, did a great job explaining about the history. So now I have a better understanding of Kotor's history vis-a-vis with the Ottoman Empire and Venice. Perast was also a nice stop to enjoy the Dalmatian coast. The only down side was the border crossing between Croatia and Montenegro which the tour company doesn't have much control about. The return took 3.5 hours due to the EU EES control system.

Lovely boat trip.

The boat trip was lovely, plenty of room on the boat in Spring when we went. The right amount of time at each island. Lovely service from the staff and nice fresh food. Picked up at the right time from the hotel and taken back by taxi. It all went smoothly and we were back in time to have a swim at the hotel and walk to Old Town for an evening meal. There are toilets on the boat. The food is a choice of fish, chicken or grilled vegetables, with a cabbage slaw, tomatoes and a potato salad. The trip includes soft drinks like Diet Pepsi, white wine and a local brandy which will blow your head off. It also includes water. Everything is well timed, well arranged, clean and safe. Each island has waterside cafes etc and they are lovely for a stroll. On the third one we bought local wine and olive oil.

Great experience! Picked us directly at the hotel and very punctual. Captain Toni was very friendly, guided the boat with great skills even wheb the waters turned a bit rough, and the stops were great to visit. Drinks available throughout the whole experience, and very flexible around how much time we decided to spend at each stop. Very professional, totalñy recommended.

Don’t look further

This boat was exactly what you wanna be on when cruising on the water. Beautiful seating. Everywhere we went, I looked at all the different boats that were out and I wouldn’t have wanted to be on any other boat then this. Great staff. Small number of people on the boat . Those turquoise l cushions out front were the best spot hands-down.
