A nice day trip that...

A nice day trip that allowed you to see various villages of Náxos. I really enjoyed the trip to the pottery studio and learning how they used to make olive oil. The pottery was very reasonably priced. Chalki has really good spices in Naxia Natura. Angeliki provided lots of facts and Spiros kept us safe on those winding roads.

A night to remember

If you only book one activity on Naxos, make it this! I had the absolute best time and can not think of a better way to spend an evening in Greece. I met so many wonderful people and can not stress how unbelievably good the food was! Getting to learn about the farm and family history (so much history! Medieval towers and ancient olive trees galore!), pick the food and help prepare the meal ourselves was such a fulfilling experience. The dancing and plate smashing at the end was the cherry on top to a magical evening and I am going to cherish my memories at Basiliko farm for ever!

Tour was absolutely beautiful!! Views and the boat were lovely. We even got told to sit at the front of the boat so we got to tan and enjoy the views whilst getting our feet wet. Staff were really great and the food was sooo delicious. Was so much fun- we loved it and would do it again!!

Amazing experience

It was amazing! Must do if you come to Naxos. It was so much fun and we learned a lot. We had tina as our guide and instructor she was sweet. Our travel guide Sandy and our driver Stavros were exceptional. Stavros with his driving, air-conditioned minivan and hospitality and Sandy with her vast knowledge of the towns we visited. Each stop had ample time to enjoy the surrounds and didn’t feel rushed. Definitely would recommend this tour as a glimpse into Naxian culture!

Greek vacation highlight!

Manolis, kristina, Noah and their team made it very safe and fun. Good security briefing. We were with our kids, 16, 13 and 11 and everybody had an amazing time. The boys loved cliff jumping. We ended up going to the Matsouna caves instead of Rina because of the wind but we really loved our experience. Less touristy, more wilderness and natural beauty. We appreciated the lunch on the pebble beach and loved the greek coffee at the end. They also lended us equipement like sun hats, rash guard and water shoes at no extra cost wich was definitely much appreciated. Overall really well organized and it was the highlight of our vacation.

This is the tour you want. Ancient pagan temple ruins, ancient church, incredible citron distillery in a cute town, traditional pottery demonstration, and - most importantly - Roula and George are the best! I love ancient history, so Roula and I had great conversations about greek mythology, the temple ruins, and other greek archaeology. It’s clear she loves what she does. And George is an adept driver; the mountain roads were easy for him. Favorite part of Naxos, including the beaches! And not expensive at all compared to other tours. Definitely recommend 🙂

A fantastic evening!

Thankful for this Experience

We spent the day with Nicholas and Vlada (both amazing hosts) some folks from France and Italy, and us Canadians. Such an enjoyable experience. The hospitality, the extras, the food and fun we had, it will be a forever highlight of our trip! We had our 12 and 15 year old with us, it was a very windy day with lots of waves and our ride back was so much fun. Be wild, sit up front and enjoy! The only thing to mention, we were racing down to be there before 8am so the boat didn’t leave without us… I don’t even think they boarded us til 8:45am. Maybe message ahead and let your kids sleep in longer!

Nothing short of spectacular! If you are considering a boating day during your time on Naxos Buru Boat is an outstanding option. We are a family of 4, the boat is the ideal size and Voula’s tour guide knowledge and Poppy’s sensational food made the day the highlight of our stay on Naxos. The 1.5 hour drive through the mountain villages only added to the experience.

Akis and Joana were amazing hosts. The boat trip was perfect and equal parts relaxing/adventurous. I was hesitant to book at first because I figured we already have the beach here, but this was definitely a highlight of our trip in Naxos and we also got to visit Paros! So even a bonus:) 10/10 reccommend.
