Our guide Aristotle and driver made a great day .....amazing!! His knowledge, passion and levity made this a truly unique and extremely enjoyable experience. Not only does he have a degree in the topics discussed, he also served his country and was a Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the Presidential Mansion. A fine young man, great orator and a proud father to be. You will not get a tour like this on a big bus. It was worth every penny, and I would highly recommend this private tour, especially with Aristotle. From the time he greeted us to our departure, the tour was packed with detailed history at every stop without a minute wasted. By far the best tour in our 17 day journey!!! Thanks again Aristotle, for a memorable day and all the best to you and your family.

We enjoyed a lot more than we thought!

My husband was not interested in this tour but he absolutely enjoyed with John (Yanis?)! Gosh, he is so knowledgeable yet very funny with jokes. My husband and I genuinely enjoyed all the Greek mythology and stories during a hot day! He made sure we stayed in the shade as much as we can. The place has very limited shaded area. Make sure to wear a hat and comfy shoes (elevation is no joke), bring a fan and water bottle (there is a water station you can fill up your bottle and/or vending machine). He also recommended some coffee shops and restaurants to go after the tour; and we had the best tomato dip and pita bread. He is indeed a great local - highly recommend!

10/10! The sites were gorgeous, but the crew is what really made the experience. Miguel, Alex, and Nassos all brought fun conversation and took great care of everyone on board. They always made sure we had what we needed, whether that was a top-up on a beverage or that my phone remained charged (gracias a mi pana Miguel). The buffet lunch was plentiful, fresh, balanced, and delicious. I absolutely recommend this tour and would happily repeat in the future.

This was a delightful half day trip from Athens that included transportation, historical information from our friendly guide, beautiful stops and lots of information along the way. We thoroughly enjoyed the brief swim stop and were well aware that the food and entrance to the temple were not included. But so worth it! Magnificent, but understand the challenges!

This was the 3rd time in our lives we visited this site, our first with a guided tour. Clients should understand that unless you are hardy, well hydrated and have the agility and sure-footedness of a mountain goat, the climb is hard - even in the comparative cool of early morning! There are virtually NO handrails, paths are unpaved, narrow, and often strewn with loose stones and potholes. The crowds are far greater than our past experiences, and can be claustrophobic on stairways and confined areas. Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic but the audio equipment provided did a poor job of conveying that, both indoors and out. Despite all those caveats, the site is magnificent and the new Museum is exceptionally well done. The Museum is accessible to those less physically able, and I think that would best be done with a private guide. It has enormous windows overlooking the site and offers a very acceptable alternative to the arduous ascent!
