We absolutely loved this experience. We learned a lot, laughed often, and enjoyed the delicious food we made. Stam is a great host, chef, and instructor. This is definitely one of the highlights of our two weeks in Greece. Highly recommend, even if you don’t consider yourself someone who likes to cook….and if you do, you’ll undoubtedly love it.

This is definitely a must do. The instructor, Spyros was fantastic. He was informative, engaging and entertaining. This is hands on and we cooked a five course meal and there was lots of food with wine pairing for each course. The class size was small and everyone was able to have assistance, if needed and get their questions answered. I am so glad to have had this experience.

It was amazing! Stam was our instructor and he was terrific. Very engaging, entertaining and knowledgeable, he taught us about the origins of much of what we were creating and helped us understand how it all comes together. He shared cooking techniques and tips and tricks and made it all seem so easy! The room where the cooking class took place was cozy and beautiful - really conducive to what we were doing. Then we got to go on the roof to enjoy the DELICIOUS food with great views of the Acropolis and city. Stam was also helpful in sharing recommendations for other places to visit and things to do in Athens and beyond. A tremendous resource! We're excited to try these recipes at home and see if we can come close to how amazing they were when we created them with the group. It was definitely a highlight of our week in Athens. Don't hesitate to book this class - it is not to be missed!!

It was a fabulous experience. Learned so much about Greek cuisine, made delicious food, and had fun because of the chef instructor, Stam, was knowledgeble,warm, welcoming, funny and charming. OH MY GOSH. BOOK. THE. COOKING. CLASS. This was so much fun. Excellent and fun instruction. Kept you engaged the whole time. Then after you spend some time having fun with cooking, learning the history and traditions of the food, and making new friends with fellow chefs- you get a stunning rooftop view while you eat and chat some more. This was so much fun and I am so excited to take the recipes back home and share my new skills with family and friends!

Be prepared to participate but it will be so much fun, you'll be glad you did! Spiros is hilarious and seems to really enjoy the teaching. Unfortunately, I was a bit under the weather and couldn't stay but my sister in law had amazing experience! The recipes were thoughtfully prepared and careful instruction given throughout resulting in, and I quote "the best tzatziki since we've been here" and we've had a lot! Even if you don't feel confident about your cooking skills, Spiros will make you feel confident in what you're making. Recipes are given via email, so you can even attempt them at home. Absolutely recommend making this a part of your trip to Athens!

Our chef was engaging and a very good teacher (just watch out for really bad dad jokes). We learned both about the history of the food we were preparing and how to make it. It was delicious and filling. I highly suggest the wine pairing that goes with the meal. A truly wonderful experience!

This was a highlight of our trip. Our small group was led by a knowledgeable and personable chef who provided great instruction, tips, guidance and allowed us hands on experience (gloved of course). There was a very nice optional wine pairing that added an elevated feel. The chef had done the appropriate prep work and walked us through other elements as we prepared our own dishes. It was a fun group, food was amazing and chef talked with us, shared Athens tips and made the experience just incredible.

This was hands down a fantastic experience. Chef Spyros was so knowledgeable and created a lively atmosphere while also being an incredible teacher. Also met another culinary schooler in the class. I would recommend this class to anyone. My husband even enjoyed the cooking lesson (and he doesn’t cook). Fingers crossed we’ll keep that momentum going when we get back home. Hands down an amazing experience. I love that we all made our own dishes, too. Chef was also right about the spinach pie tasting even better the next day for breakfast.
