Secret rooms access tour
This tour was exceptional in every way - particularly because of our guide, Susan. Susan has expert knowledge, is highly qualified, and a delight to engage with because of her passion and understanding of the history of Venice. We all loved the secret rooms access, and thoroughly recommend this tour to others. Thank you Susan!

Beauty of art in motion
After a stellar “Real Hidden Venice” tour with Sebastian’s in Venice, we were thrilled when we arrived at our meeting point for this tour and found him again. Guiding us for a second day, he was as engaging and knowledgeable about this nearby islands as he was about Venice proper. Our favorite had to be the beautiful art of glass making. A lifetime of work by master artisans who craft breathtaking pieces with ease and precision in ways that are difficult to comprehend without seeing them in action. Walking through the showroom is an immersive and enlightening experience in what in means to be a true master. They are very much painters of glass. We were all in awe.
We continued on to Burano where we learned about the history of the colorful landscape and the almost lost art of lace making. By exposing ourselves to these generational trades, we felt closer to understanding the full depth of what it means to be Venetian, even today. We highly recommend this tour.

Small group with a toddler
There was 6 of us travelling, including a 2 year old toddler and Riccardo picked us up in a minibus with a child seat. He was very knowledgeable. Beautiful scenic drive to the vineyard with a photo stop (worth stopping!) and then Laura at the DOCG region did a fantastic job making us feel welcome and teaching us about Prosecco with such passion. They were accommodating to our baby with a high chair and the food was more of a grazing board but delicious! They provided plenty of extra breadsticks and the Prosecco was amazing! They took photos for us and were very friendly. Thank you.

The best - and worth every penny
Antonio is an excellent guide and provides an educational and fun tour. We learned a lot from his explanations of the history of the places we visited and the multiple paintings we looked at. We were surprised and happy that he also paid for drinks and snacks at a couple of stops and brought us to a glass blowing demonstration that was not on the original tour. He also is happy to provide local suggestions for restaurants and other places. Absolutely worth the money. I will use him as a guide when I come back.

Great tour!
This was a wonderful food tour with Daniela! She did a fantastic job of showing us some places we never would’ve found on our own and telling us a lot about the history of Venice. The small group was very nice and made it easy to hear and enjoy everything. We always like to take a food tour on the first day we get to a city because it’s a great introduction to the area and this tour was particularly good!

Marina is amazing and makes you feel like family
We had a great time exploring Venice with Marina on this food tour. It ended up being just the four of us on the tour, which made it feel very personal and relaxed. Marina was incredibly personable and friendly from the start—easy to talk to and genuinely passionate about sharing Venice with us.
We stopped at several spots to try delicious cicchetti, spritz and wine and a few other dishes. Marina did a wonderful job explaining the local food, wine and culture while keeping the atmosphere light and enjoyable.
Overall, it was a really memorable way to experience Venice beyond the usual tourist paths. A great mix of food, drinks, and local insight. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a more personal and authentic tasting tour. Marina was amazing and made us feel like family. Thank you for a great time!

Beautiful tour! The boat...
Beautiful tour! The boat tour was perfect. The bakery is amazing. Loved the glassblowing demo and 50% at their shop.
We also had time to stop for espresso in Murano and for Chicetti on the water in Burano. The tour guide Allegra gave a great suggestion about where to go.
In March it was warm in the morning and then a bit cool on the water. Make sure you wear jackets on cooler days.

A Culinary Journey Through Venice’s Heart and History ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Our private food tour with Giacomo was an absolutely delightful blend of gastronomy and cultural immersion.
Giacomo expertly guided us through various Venetian neighborhoods, using each carefully selected dish as a gateway to understanding the rich history and heritage of this remarkable city.
The culinary experience was exceptional—from fresh, locally-sourced seafood that showcased Venice’s maritime traditions to delicate pastries that revealed the city’s artisanal craftsmanship. Each sip of wine and spritz was perfectly paired not just with the food, but with fascinating stories about the neighborhoods we explored.
What elevated this tour beyond a simple food experience were the engaging conversations Giacomo facilitated about Venice’s evolution—its storied past, vibrant present, and promising future. His insights transformed each tasting into a meaningful cultural exchange, making the tour both highly informative and thoroughly enjoyable.
Giacomo’s passion for his city and its culinary traditions was infectious, creating an atmosphere where learning about Venice felt as natural as savoring its incredible flavors. This tour offered the perfect combination of exceptional food, rich history, and genuine local perspective.
We highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to truly taste and understand Venice. We’re already planning our return visit and wouldn’t hesitate to book another tour with Giacomo to discover even more of Venice’s culinary treasures!

Informative and Engaging
Rita, our guide was informative and engaging. We began promptly, had ample time in the basilica, and were guided through carefully. We then went to the gondola for a nice ride through the canals. The tour ended where it began, which was very convenient, even though the listing said it would end far away.
