This was a wonderful walking tour that not only let you sample the taste of Venice, but offered you a part of Venice that is out of the tourist way and allowed some deeper experience of this beautiful city

Giovanni is so knowledgeable and hilarious. We had a fabulous time on this tour. It was one of the best we’ve done and it helped us to appreciate all of Venice, including the areas that are off the beaten path. The food was delicious (best pizza and gelato in Italy yet!).

We had so much fun on the Venice food tour with Cecilia! We learned so much about the specialty foods and drinks of Venice and the origins behind them, which made the experience even more interesting. We actually ended up being the only ones on the tour, and Cecilia never made us feel rushed for a second. It was such a great way to see the city and experience Venice beyond just the typical tourist spots.
Cecilia made the whole tour fun, interesting, and absolutely delicious with all of her choices. Highly recommend!

It was fun to be out of the touristy area of Venice and explore new areas. Got to try some new Venetian dishes which some loved and a few not so much, but hey, that is what a food tour is all about. We had a blast walking the cobble streets, learning the history, and sharing a laugh with new made tour friends. There were kids on the tour that was a little weird as it was mainly a food/wine tour. They were bored and complaining which was annoying. Overall though recommend this fun food tour.

There is a lot of walking but it is broken up by stops where you can sit and eat. Dani was an amazing guide, taking the time to explain and answer all of our questions.

This was a wonderful food tour with Daniela! She did a fantastic job of showing us some places we never would’ve found on our own and telling us a lot about the history of Venice. The small group was very nice and made it easy to hear and enjoy everything. We always like to take a food tour on the first day we get to a city because it’s a great introduction to the area and this tour was particularly good!

Giulia was absolutely wonderful. We had such a lovely tour around the cannaregio, eating the most delicious food! Best risotto I've ever had, a lovely introduction to the Venetian variety of spritz, and the pizza! We went back to one of the places the next day for more pizza. As it was during the week, the tour was just my sister and myself, and Giulia included a little walk as well which was lovely and great for digestion! I slept wonderfully last night. Thank you so much for showing us around, Giulia! We hope to see you next time, when we bring the rest of our family! No photos I'm afraid, as we were too busy enjoying the tour and chatting with Giulia.

Daniela was an amazing tour guide- got to experience a ton of Venice outside of the major touristy areas (huge bonus) and some excellent food. Really enjoyed the tour of the Jewish Ghetto and the history, as well as the hidden bits of what makes Venice amazing.

Our food tour of Venice was both tasty and informative and definitely worth the time. We started the morning at 10:30 and by 10:35 we were at our first stop, Rizzo’s for a good pesto/burrata flatbread, a little Venetian fast food is you will. Second stop was was at a quainter cafe were we tried baccala mantecato on squid ink polenta and a glass of prosecco - give it a try! Next we wandered the streets of Cannaregio and visited spots I know we never would have visited. Our guide, Daniela, was very engaging and interjected information on all of the districts as we wandered the maze of alleyways. Next stop was a traditional bacari to enjoy a wonderful risotto and an ombra. Here again, Daniela added detail to our food and drink and the relationship of the dining experience to Venetian history and life. We passed through the Jewish Ghetto and explored the history and significance of this area of Venice. Next to last stop was for a sampling of various cicchetti accompanied by the famous spritz with choice of digestive. What food tour of Venice would be complete without a smooth creamy gelato? The spot Daniela picked was incredible and, of course, we now have knowledge on how to assess our gelato spots in the future.
The combination of food, walking, and history was well worth our time.

This tour with Ana was TREMENDOUS! Each stop was just a bit different with the food and wine and learning from her was great! The baccala cicchetti was great as was the risotto, and the wine pairings, superb. All the stops were great and talking and learning from Ana was so much fun.
