What To Expect
Choose from two different options with this one-water private taxi service from Venice’s Marco Polo Airport to you hotel. With meet and greet service, a representative will greet you at the airport arrival terminal and escort you to the pier, where you’ll board a private motorboat. With the full-service option, a representative will stay with you from the arrival terminal all the way to the door of your hotel.
Once you hop aboard your comfortable motorboat, relax and enjoy the spectacular ride. As not all Venice hotels have a private water taxi stop, the driver will let you off at the closest available stop.
Motorboats can accommodate up to six people and six pieces of luggage. Transfer service is available 24 hour a day, 7 days a week. Please provide flight and hotel details when making your booking. You’ll receive immediate confirmation and a voucher to present to the transfer representative. Please call the number on your voucher between 24 and 48 hours prior to your arrival to confirm your transfer.
Price is per person, based on six adults per motorboat.
Please note: Guests staying at Venice’s Hotel Marriott (Isola delle Rose) will need to pay a surcharge of €20 at the time of service due to the hotel’s more distant location. This transfer service is not available to Mestre hotels.

- The duration of transfers are approximate, the exact duration will depend on the time of day and traffic conditions
- If there are bad weather conditions (such as fog, frozen water, or stormy conditions) on the day of your transfer, you will be diverted via Piazzale Roma by vehicle
- Price is per person, based on 6 adults per car/vehicle
- Due to the Hotel Marriot location (Isola delle Rose), transfer to/from this Hotel are subjected to a surcharge of €20, payable on spot
- On certain dates, most travelers staying outside of Venice who are planning to visit for the day will be required to pay an access fee. For further details (including exemptions) and to learn what days this fee is applicable, please visit: https://cda.ve.it
- If any travelers in your group use a wheelchair, please inform us when confirming your booking. This will allow us to arrange a specialized motorboat to accommodate your needs.

Smooth, professional and friendly experience transferring from the airport to our hotel. The woman who met our plane was very friendly and helpful. Our boat driver helped us with our luggage and provided a safe and very nice boat ride. Very happy with everything and I’d recommend this.

We were met when and where they said they would meet us immediately after clearing customs and escorted to where the water taxi was parked (10 minute walk.) Excellent service, would use again.

Ride was good and very convenient to have a boat waiting for us at airport. But on the return trip, we were able to get a private boat via the concierge at our hotel for more than 100 Euro less. Wish I had done some more price research.

This is a good way to get to town from the airport. Efficient and hassle free. A bit expensive but saves some time figuring stuff out.

I was told there would be someone to help us with the luggage; there was not. We had to wait over a half an hour, at the dock, for our driver to arrive! After an 16 hour flight, we were not happy. The company had our arrival time so there was no excuse. The driver took us through the industrial area to get to our hotel. I've done this trip several times and each time we were taken through a canal connecting to the Grand Canal. This ugly drive is not the way I wanted my adult children to enter Venice. Disappointed all the way around. I will be surprised if you publish my comment.

We booked this very special private taxi to our hotel for our honeymoon treat. The boat transfer areas was chaos with nobody saying they had our booking. We waiting in 40 degree heat for 2 hours. My husband called your office and was in the phone for 31 mins. It took 3 attempts to try and send booking, in the end he sent a pdf of booking which worked. He spoke very poor english and didn’t understand us. He kept going off seeking advice from a supervisor. we arrived at hotel exhausted .. never again! thanks for ruining our honeymoon .

It is a very long journey from baggage claim to the water taxis. I advised the carrier that my mother was using a walker and elderly, however we were not offered wheelchair or other assistance.
Other than an exhausted 90 year-old. The water taxi entrance into Venice, landing at our hotel was magnificent.

Our guide to the boat was great she met us outside in the arrival hall after we got our bags. She loaded them up and showed us to the water taxi and our water taxi was very kind and a great driver. So glad we did this instead of public water taxi. They dropped us right off at the hotel dock.

My clients were not met at the airport and they could not find your company for over an hour then they had to walk an hour with their bag to get to the boat with no assistance even though they paid for full service. They are requesting a refund. I have already contacted via us with a complaint.

Excellent service. The lady met us In the arrivals with a name card and took us to the boat which is around a 15min walk in Venice airport, she then stayed with us on the boat and walked us to our hotel which was brilliant as we landed in Venice late at night so would have really struggled without this service. I would definitely recommend if you are going to Venice on a night flight - use this service. They are polite and knowledgeable and definitely take the stress out of the journey.

I had a good experience with this company. They reached out for my arrival times prior to our arrival and were flexible when our flights were delayed and we came in much later. We got our taxi very quickly and we're taken directly to our hotel. It was a very smooth experience . Their office is right outside luggage claim in case you don't see them upon arrival. What would make it even better would be a whatsapp number to reach out instead of email. I would recommend this pick up.

Was a great experience, would definitely recommend it for anyone coming to Venice for the first time or the tenth time. It was a fun way to get to our hotel. The only downside was due to the dock close to our hotel being blocked by someone’s boat so we couldn’t get off close to the hotel as planned. Our driver found the next closest spot but we literally had to climb over another boat to do it and the driver basically tossed our luggage onto the other boat and told us how to go “around” to get to the hotel. The walk itself wasn’t too bad but the climbing over another boat was not my idea of fun.

This transport company was very accommodating to our arrival time change.
We I booked this transfer approximately 9 months prior to our vacation. 3 months ago Delta cancelled our flight. Our new flight was scheduled to arrive in Venice at 8:55 am versus the original time of 4pm. We confirmed time change with transport company. Our flight ended with a 3 hour delay and once again, w/o hesitation, they were happy to accommodate. We would definitely use this company again.

Great service, quickly transported our family from Marco Polo to Rialto Bridge. We had dropped off a rental and made contact at desk 71 for our transfer as soon as you come off the pedestrian bridge from parking garage.

Viator contractor was terrible starting with the meet & greet where she was greeting multiple parties with several names on paper shuffling thru them not holding it up like the dozens of other greeters. Later she just taped names to wheel chairs that were randomly parked. After the water to the water taxi we stood around for an entire hour because she had no boats arranged. so for an hour we watch 100s of people come and get in boats while we waiting. extremely poorly run and during the wait all we were told was how sorry she was that she didn’t have boats. Viator should be ashamed that they subcontractor to absolutely awful company
