- This is a collective tour, which means there might be other participants going on the tour with you.
- The gondola ride might be suspended in case of bad weather. In such cases you are required to go to the tour departure point in order to know whether the tour takes place or not and any alternative ways to use the service.
- Please note that, due to the particular morphological structure of Venice and the logistic problems resulting from it, we cannot guarantee that the whole tour is accessible to people with limited mobility. This means that people with walking difficulties and wheelchair users could not be able to access some parts of the itinerary.
- From November 1st to March 31st, tour may be operated with a bilingual guide in the event two different language-groups are combined (information will be presented in both languages)
- A gondola can host up to 5 people, thus if your reservation includes more than 5 people, your group will be divided into smaller groups, or rather you will enjoy different gondolas.
- This is a collective tour, so there might be other people enjoying your same gondola. In this case people belonging to your reservation can be divided into different gondolas.
- No explanations are provided during the gondola ride
- On certain dates, most travelers staying outside of Venice who are planning to visit for the day will be required to pay a €5 access fee. For further details (including exemptions) and to learn what days this fee is applicable, please visit: https://cda.ve.it

My husband and I enjoyed this tour. Our guide was an enthusiastic Venetian. The only suggestion for improvement is that we waited 45 minutes between the walking tour and the gondola ride as another group merged with ours. Overall, very nice.

The tour guide did not turn up . Phoned the tour operator and got no answer. Stood around for 45 minutes.
Rang Viator kept me hanging on the phone for 10 minutes as they could not get hold of tour guide.

Great tour. Good way to get your bearings in this maze of a city. Wonderful guide with in depth knowledge of Venice and venetian people. Well worth it. Perfect way to end walking tour with gondola ride. Our gondolier told us history and sang. Wonderful man.

Just walking around Venice and listening its story was amazing. Every bridge, every street has a charm. The tour guide was very detailed in everything she explained about Venice. We were lucky to have her. The góndola ride was great. We had the chance to meet a couple and the surprise for everyone was that he proposed her in the gondola. I have some pictures that I want to shear I case the couple want it. We totally recommend this tour/company.

Warning! Don't be late..... even 5 mins. They won't call you to check where you are. They won't help you catch up the tour. They won't offer any alternative. They use a 3rd party tour operator. Disappointing from Viator and won't be using them again.

This below paragraph is what I wrote to the company (Viator) twice and it’s been 3 days and no reply back from them.
“Hi I paid $101.13 for this tour: Morning Walk Tour of Venice plus Gondola Ride. I got the morning walk on Friday, February 16 at 9am, but did not get the gondola ride?
Please advise? “
Viator should either reimburse me fully or at the bare minimum pay back some percentage of the cost that I paid since I never got the gondola ride.

Guide was very knowledgeable but not engaging. Felt like he was just reciting a memorized script. The gondola was the best part. Says right in the description that the gondoliers don’t talk, and they don’t, however was a beautiful ride & view. Overall it’s a good option for families because the tour portion is short and kids love the gondola.

We booked a walking tour with 30 minute gondola ride. We arrived to walk for 5 minutes to the gondola. We got in. It lasted no more than 15 minutes. I complained to the guide. They advised I contact the tour opera. Very disappointing. Tour was OK. Not the places we wanted to see or visit. Not overly interesting.

Monica was a very knowledgeable and engaging guide for this walking tour of Venice. She provided a lot of history and her perspective as we walked the backstreets and piazza's of Venice that many people do not ever experience. I would definitely recommend this walking tour to anyone wanting to experience Venice. The gondola ride was done separately from the walk, so we had a different guide to get us to the gondolas. The gondola ride not only took us through the small canals, but also onto the Grand Canal and back to our starting point. You truly appreciate the skill of the gondoliers while they navigate the narrow canals and low overhanging bridges of Venice, but also the skill to navigate the choppier waters of the Grand Canal. Definitely worth the money!

The walking tour was great. Guide was knowledgeable. Easy walking. There were a couple of times where the guide went a little too fast and it was a bit difficult to keep up due to the crowds. Over all excellent experience. The Gondola Ride was a wonderful way to finish the tour.

This was fine. Could hear the guide. Very knowledgeable. Walked at a pace where everyone could keep up. Ride could have been better because had to sit sideways and missed some of the sights. Difficulty when having the gondola.
