What are people saying about Venice

Illuminating and moving exploration of the original ghetto
Contrary to most other tour operators who cancelled their tours on me due to low demand amid the January lull, Lucia was gracious enough to dignify me with a one-on-one experience of the former ghetto. Highlights included a hidden, beautifully tranquil public park, a fantastic illustrator's studio who specializes in beguilingly colourful and wonderfully evocative scenes of Venetian Jewish life in times past (and present), as well as of course the atmospheric main square of the quarter commemorating the imprisonment, deportation and eventual massacring of a large number of Venetian Jews, as well as the everyday heroism of those unassuming record keepers and bureaucrats who by torching the census data and church records ensured that most managed to stay undetected. Lucia managed to nail the tone perfectly in my opinion to convey what had happened with both the required gravity as well as joie de vivre. She was also just very genial and generous with her tips and recommendations and took care to check up on me even several days later. Among all the gaudiness of the carnival and general tourist trade a markedly grounding, nourishing experience!

Brilliant!
This was a brilliant tour. Clementina, our tour guide, was lovely and gave us a lot of interesting information. She really made the experience fun and had great tips on the best places to shop and eat.
Burano was just beautiful and well worth the visit. The timing was perfect for missing the big crowds. The glass factory in Murano was amazing and we loved the demonstration.
We would highly recommend doing this tour.

Authentic Venice at its Best
If you want to skip the crowds and see the real Venice, request Zahra. Our 3-hour tour was perfectly paced and full of surprises. Meeting the artists at Ca' del Sol was a unique highlight—the craftsmanship of their masks and costumes is world-class. Between the history, the authentic gelato, and the amazing truffle shop, this was a great experience from start to finish.

Murano, Burano and Venice highlights!
Remarkedly romantic and informative tour. Got to see several islands via private water taxi. Private viewing of Murano glass blowing by a Master was a real treat. We got to see multiple techniques. The museum was stunning, and of course we had to go home with some wine glasses. Burano was a site to behold. A colorful panorama of homes, quaint shops, and restaurants. The scent of “Frito Misto” permeated the air. Our guide Gulia is an absolute delight. She is Venetian and is full of enchanting stores and passion for her homeland. We shared Prosecco and Venetian Spritz’s (made with Select instead of Aperol) and Chicchettis. Gratzie Millie Gulia!

Beautiful tour! The boat...
Beautiful tour! The boat tour was perfect. The bakery is amazing. Loved the glassblowing demo and 50% at their shop.
We also had time to stop for espresso in Murano and for Chicetti on the water in Burano. The tour guide Allegra gave a great suggestion about where to go.
In March it was warm in the morning and then a bit cool on the water. Make sure you wear jackets on cooler days.

Lunchtime walking food tour with Tone was the perfect start to our trip
We had an amazing time on this tour! It ended up being just the three of us and our guide, Tone. Sometimes that situation can feel a bit awkward without other guests, but Tone made it incredibly comfortable and it felt like we had our own private tour.
He took us to several interesting spots and every portion was a good size and a great introduction into traditional Venetian foods. Each stop also had a taste of wine or spritz. My husband even stepped out of his comfort zone and tried a traditional sardine cicchetti! Along the way, we learned about the history of Venice. Tone was extremely knowledgeable and patiently answered all of our random questions.
We finished the tour with some delicious gelato and some great restaurant recommendations for the rest of our stay. Thank you so much, Tone! This was the perfect way to start our trip.

Venice with a Local Guide (A Personal Experience)
This is a unique tour and recommended for travellers that are curious to understand and experience the local history and flavor. The local tour guide offers immersive and in depth cultural knowledge, local customs while uncovering local hidden gems not marketed by the traditional tours and more importantly, it was safe.
We asked to be brought to food haunts to experience where locals frequent and the food experience was nothing short of fantastic. In addition we walked through the streets of Venice and given a history of each district we visited including the uniqueness of each of the places we visited and relationship between them. This was never anticipated but added to the understanding on how these districts evolved over time. This was our first time in having a local guide and we have no regrets and only praises for this unique experience as our guide was very articulate, patient and in our opinion experienced and knowledgeable. Our guide Gio was exceptional and made our experience memorable. Before we parted, our local guide introduced local restaurants serving local Venetian food. We tried his recommendation and was not disappointed in both taste and value.

The guide Syria was...
The guide Syria was fantastic! She talked about life in Venice, growing up here, challenges, history and future.
This is the second time we have been to Murano Glass but first time guided was so much better! We learned a great deal. All handmade glass is exquisite and purchased some lovely items for our home and daily use.

Learned a lot about this unique city!
Valentina was not only very knowledgeable but also friendly, witty, and above all, patient. She really took the time to get to know all nine of us on the tour (and answered all our questions!), while providing us with lots of fun facts and insights into Venice’s history, geography, and culture, as we weaved our way down streets and alleys, across squares (fields), and over bridges. A great way to spend two-plus hours that takes you beyond seeing just the “must see” landmarks!

100% Worth taking this tour! Perfect for couples & foodies
Terrific and intimate tour of two separate vineyards in the most exquisite towns of Santo Stefanoa and Guia where we had the opportunity to learn about Prosecco production, have several tastings and sample delicious cheeses, meats and various appetizers. Our tour guide Vanessa, was phenomenal and so easy to talk to and knowledgeable of the region as she is a true Venezia !

Great tour because of a great tour guide
It started off a little unexpected. It was because there was a strike and our original tour guide could not make it today. I do not know how my original tour guide would have been but their replacement was excellent. We basically spent the day with him and he was absolutely terrific. We enjoyed the tour, he was funny, and very knowledgeable.
