Our tour guide was Sneh. We had tons of confusion a few days prior to this tour about who needs to get what tickets , ended up being this is a local guide vs licensed tour guide , so he was not allowed to go near any historical buildings, we had no idea . Overall he was good. He just needs to keep his political views to himself.

The tour was very good and informative. The tour guide was very accommodating. We had a small group of about 7 people so it felt very personal. Finding the tour guide was a little difficult in the beginning.

Wonderful intro to Venice. Jack was our guide and led us to all the important areas to see but also off the beaten path little treasures. So informative. Also gave us notes of his favorite places. Really fantastic guide and great experience of culture, history and stories.

Zahra was a wonderful guide for our 3hr walking tour of Venice, showing us some of the main highlights of the city and surprised us with some hidden gems! She delighted us with a special bookstore and an authentic carnival mask shop that had us feeling like we were stepping back in time. We really appreciated the time we spent with her and she made sure we stayed hydrated in the 30+C heat. Highly recommend this experience if you are looking for a more “off the beaten path” tour of Venice.

We had a tremendous time with our tour guide, Sneh. I have been on 10+ tours with Viator. All over the world. I will say this is one of the best I’ve ever been on. It’s a non-traditional tour, so you’re going to get to see more of the “real” Venice— parts you wouldn’t likely see on your own or on an historical tour. I learned so much today. And our guide was both personable and knowledgeable. A 10 out of 10!

Fantastic tour. Enjoyed seeing a lot of Venice in 3 hours. Zahra was very friendly and knowledgeable about Venice. She even gave us a few recommendations on where to eat. Zahra was in contact with us several times after we booked our tour to understand what type of sites we were interested in seeing on our tour. Great experience!!

We have been on many guided walking tours - and this one was among the best !
Our guide, Sney Wayne, showed us that there is so much more to Venice than St Mark's Square and the Doge's Palace!
The guide gave information about the history of Venice, whilst visiting many parts of the city that we would never have seen. Sney, our guide, also gave suggestions for other places to visit during our stay along with a great list of restaurants to choose from.
Overall, a great 3 hours which was informative, enjoyable and memorable.

Farid was our guide and we were a group of six friends. After a bit of confusion all was good and we set away on our tour. He was truly one of the best guides we have ever had. He went above and beyond and was fun and extremely personable...we saw so much of Venice that we would not have if doing it on our own. Highly recommend requesting him for your guide.

Very informative small group walking tour with great guide. We only had 4 in our group so it felt like a private tour. We saw the big sights (Rialto, St Marks, etc) and many small ones, plus interesting shops (old bookshop, mask maker, chocolatier). It was a good three hours with a nice break for a drink (we had spritz’s) and the restroom. Would recommend.

Jack is amazing tour guide, we took walking tour with him.He pointed out so many interesting places in Venice, gave us lots of history so we can understand the city better. He also gave us detailed recommendations for places to eat, where to take gondola rides. Wonderful tour and highly recommended

My husband and I were treated to a fantastic walking tour by Sneh Wayne. Our original tour was supposed to occur when it was raining heavily in Venice, and I was so disappointed that we were going to miss the walking adventure, but Sneh contacted me and set up a different day/time for us to meet. His tour was above and beyond what we expected. He met us at our hotel in the early evening hours, and he guided us through the parts of Venice that we had not seen already. His storytelling was superb, and we were engaged throughout the tour. He was professional, kind, funny, and full of knowledge. We would recommend taking a tour with Sneh... you will love the adventure!

Venice is complicated to navigate on your own. Navigation tools don’t work well as there are few streets and many bridges and pathways that make it difficult to connect. This walking tour took all the stress away! In three hours that weren’t that tour guide took us to beautiful places that weren’t that crowded.

We did the Spanish guided tour with our guide Maria. The tour was mainly for my parents who speak Spanish and wanted a nice historical tour around Venice. Our guide Maria provided just that! She was very interactive and answered all my parents questions! The only downside was the rain but other than that we had a nice time. Gracias Maria!

This tour was scheduled some months ago
On 6/5/2026 I received the following message:
“We have been informed by our guide that you will be cancelling the tour.
Please be informed that while we can’t cancel the tour on our end, feel
free to cancel it directly on Viator or by contacting the customer service”
I responded immediately that I did not cancel my tour. Add as a result got recontacted and the tour was rescheduled with a new guide. (I do not have those communications any more)
The day prior to arriving by cruise ship I confirmed this tour by text to the guide assigned to me on May 7 and received confirmation 4 minutes later.
I showed up 30 minutes prior to the meeting time On May 9 and no one showed up. I messaged the guide and Viator and got no response until later.
I agreed to meet the following day. Then at midnight I was awoke to a message to change the meeting time from morning until 1:30 the following day. That conflicted with other activities so I canceled by responding immediately, to confirm my cancelation and confirm my refund.
At 6:45 AM I received a request to reschedule with some boloney about getting a TOP guide.
I restated at 8:11 that I wanted a refund. Which I will continue to watch for and follow up if not received.
If this is a company that is used by Viator very frankly Viator should not use them any more. They were very disruptive to my trip making constant changes….the non show up of the guide is inexcusable unless the guide was in an accident on the way to the meeting point. I booked this tour at least two months prior to arriving in Venice and I should have been the priority…….not have to respond to repeated changes, some messages in the middle of the night. If this happens again I will not use Viator anymore to schedule tours.

Our guide Sneh was very good really knowledgeable and nothing was any trouble from asking questions or having a little break. There was only me and my husband and another couple so that was really good. We found having a tour like this allows you to understand the background of Venice and information about the buildings and culture that you might not know otherwise. Good value for money. Definitely not for people who have mobility issues as we definitely got our steps in.

Nicoletta was an excellent guide. We saw the main sights of Venice, but she really took us off the beaten track too. Her knowledge of the history was exceptional. This is a not-to-miss orientation to Venice. We loved it!
