This shared gondola ride experience is reasonably priced and offers a history of Venice canal taking you into virtual reality and then you are escorted to your gondola where the the experience is enjoyable and memorable.

While an app was.availableto have an English speaking gondola, would have preferred and English speaking gondola to make it more alive and personable.

This was a poorly organized activity. We waited over an hour to get into the gondola. The guide made a brief comment at the beginning about the history saying it should 5-10 minutes before departure. Then nothing. Everyone was wondering what was going on. After about 20 minutes I asked what was happening. She said it would be about 5-10 minutes more and that they had no control whether gondola drivers showed up or not. She stood at the front, off to the side with her back to the group. We missed our dinner reservations due to the delay.

We enjoyed the gondola ride but it was extremely short, barely 20minutes from sitting down to getting off

The description says 30 min gondola ride but the ride was less than 20 min. It took us more time to register and walk to the departure deck than the actual ride.

It only went for about 20 mins as the rest of the time was spent sitting around waiting and watching the virtual display. Then we get in the gondola and the gondolier spoke very loudly to his mate in the nearby gondola or to another person on the phone most of the trip. Completely ruined the atmosphere which was otherwise very nice. He also yelled loudly as he wanted us to lean over so the gondola could fit under small bridges. It wasn’t clear and I almost felt the gondola was going to tip. I get they must be sick of tourists but this was my only chance to travel to Italy and tick a few boxes and this jerk spoilt that.

We thoroughly enjoyed our gondola ride. The singer and guitarist were superb and very friendly. It made the trip very memorable and enjoyable for us.
I would highly recommend the sunset gondola ride.

Worst experience with Viator. I do not recommend this. It was a waste of time and money. Tour guide more interested in getting a tip for little service. So disappointing, this is my first review. Book this on your own.

No leather except when I asked what the masks were made of in a shop that we walked past and she went to ask what the material was and we were told it was leather. No jewelry craftsmanship at all. One stop at a jewelry shop when the owner pushed us to buy. The paper making was a very quick demonstration after we were told there would be no demonstration. The glass part was great.

I didn't care much for the glass shop we were taken to, the salesman was a bit too high-pressure. We didn't buy anything there. The mask shop with its proprietor were terrific, and we did buy 3 masks. We walked past the place where they build gondolas, but couldn't enter. The guide recommended a good place to have lunch.

We only went to glass demo and the mask shop. No lace, no fabrics, no dolls,. For the price it was disappointing. Our guide was knowlegable, but at the 2hour mark left us. I was so looking forward to the fabrics. The mask shop was tiny and one of us was able to create a mask from the beginning. Very good demonstration and instructions. The glass demonstration was better than the Murano tour taken to the Island. If you are short on time, this glass demo is a good bet.

This tour seemed more commercially driven than about the work of the craftsmen. There was some good insight into local economics. I would like to see a gondola workshop added to the tour.

Our tour guide was amazing. She told us about all the different stores we passed. The mask shop was amazing and Nicholi made me my own mask. However, we only went to two places, the mask shop and glass shop.

Nous avons la chance mon mari et moi même de faire l'excursion seulement tout les deux. Notre guide était vraiment extra elle a même profiter du fait que nous soyons que 2 pour nous faire visiter d'autres monuments. Nous avons eu le droit à une démonstration de soufflage de verre super. Puis nous avons visité une toute petite fabrique de masque qui m'a permis d'acheter un masque vraiment authentique.
