We had an amazing tour of Mount Etna with our guide, Carmelo. He was incredibly informative, friendly, and knowledgeable. What we appreciated most was his patience and the way he took his time to explain everything in detail in English, Italian, and Spanish. Each stop along the way was fascinating, and his explanations made the experience even more special. I highly recommend Carmelo as a guide if you want a memorable and well-guided tour of Mount Etna!

Great tour with Luca. Helpful to be picked up from cruise port. Got to hike on the volcano and go in the lava tubes (didnt get to get close to active lava on this tour though)
Did an Etna guided tour with small walk, visited a cave and then relaxed at the family farm for lunch. Luca our guide was great - very knowledgeable with interesting stories and was even a crack photographer! Great day had by all of us in an amazing part of Italy.
Alessio was our excellent guide on our tour. His passion for the area, history & nature points of interest really shone through. He happily answered questions (esp from my 8yr old) . The four ‘parts’ of the tour are really well designed & a fantastic experience was had by the whole family.
Amazing day spends on Etna. Our guide Ciccio was very knowledgeable , friendly and experienced driver.
Wonderful experience. Our guides were so knowledgeable and accommodating for the children and older adults in our group. Our stops on the tour were interesting, engaging and filled with cultural information as well as education of the volcano’s geology itself. If you want to explore Etna and what this volcano truly means to the Sicilian people, do not hesitate to book! A great time had by all!

We had a great experience on this Mt. Etna tour. Luca was an excellent guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and full of interesting information about Mt. Etna and the surrounding area.
He was also incredibly helpful when I climbed to one of the craters, making the experience much easier and more enjoyable. His guidance and encouragement were greatly appreciated.
I highly recommend this tour, especially if you're lucky enough to have Luca as your guide!
Francesco was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide about all things Mama Etna. This trip was amazing from the hike to the craters, the inside of the lava tube, and the jeep ride to the lava flow. The tastings and our lunch were an added bonus! This was a highlight of our travels.

We did the Mount Etna 4x4 jeep tour and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish – a perfect way to spend the day.
From the very beginning, everything was so well organised. Mario collected us from our hotel and brought us to the meeting point, and he was an absolute pleasure to deal with – so friendly and welcoming. We even got to see his village on the way, which was a really nice touch, and the kids really enjoyed chatting with him.
The meeting point itself was beautiful – a lovely scenic spot with incredible views of Mount Etna. There was also a shop there with amazing local products and produce (we ended up buying loads!), and the whole setting felt relaxed and enjoyable. Sitting outside with that view, in such a calm atmosphere, was just lovely.
Our guide Carmelo was outstanding. He was so patient, incredibly knowledgeable, and explained everything in such an engaging way. You could really tell how passionate he is about Mount Etna, and he made the whole experience both educational and fun. He was brilliant with the kids too, which made a big difference for us as a family.
We got to see so much throughout the tour, and one thing that really stood out was how little walking was involved. We had someone with us with mobility issues, and this tour was ideal – something I know I personally look for when reading reviews, so hopefully this helps others too.
Overall, it was such a memorable experience with genuinely lovely people. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area – especially families. Thank you Carmelo and Mario for making it so special!
The only thing is to bring a jacket as it’s kinda cold on the top , it’s very suitable for all ages too our grandchildren were 9 & 11 and were well able and we were close to 70 … it was amazing to see and the guide Carmello was an excellent guide full of information and knowledge and he was so kind n nice too … it was a wonderful trip for us all …

Giampiero AKA Chicho was a wonderful guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and shared a lot of history. Our entire hike was in the snow and he made sure we were safe in every way He also recommended great restaurants and food not to miss in the area!
We loved our tour with Lucca! The Silvestri crater was incredible, but the best part was the tour of the lava tube. Lucca found one that was long but also not very crowded so he was able to give us an in-depth explanation. Definitely have lunch at the end of the tour. The honey served with the antipasti is mind-blowing. This one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily.
Excellent experience! The guides were very friendly, helpful and competent. Well-organized. The part with trekking was balanced and nice.
Luca was extremely knowledgeable about the geology of the volcano and its environs.The tasting of the local products was special as well.

We had a great time during this Mt Etna excursion. Luca was the best tour and kept the tour fun and engaging with his knowledge of the mountain. We had a lovely lunch after at their restaurant and all the employees were warm and friendly. Just note that there is a lot of walking and somewhat difficult climbs on this trip so be prepared.

The tour was amazing. Our guides were very knowledgeable about the history and geology of Etna, and told us in an amusing and involving way (lots of food metaphors!).
This activity was very much for me; we did the opera for y wife last week. But she said she enjoyed this far more than she expected to and would si it again.
I have bad knees, and was a little concerned about the walking involved, but it turned out to be well within my abilities.
It's a good half-day, ending up at a great location for a lunch and to sample some native Sicilian produce.
I'd recommend it to anyone.
You could not ask for a better guide than Carmellow. He was excellent. Very knowledgeable. We were in his jeep with three other people went to the top of one of the large craters then went inside one of the cave lava tubes then to another area that overlooked the valley then for a tasting back at the meeting location for the farm fresh savory and sweet preserves and local wine loved this tour

Carmelo and Alessio immediately made us feel at home. Their passion and expertise radiated from their bodies. The experience was informative and fun. And the picnic at the farm/meeting point was the best part of the day. will definitely e telling my friends

A really interesting trip where we learned all about Etna. We had Luca as our guide who was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. We stayed for lunch afterwards which was delicious- especially recommend. The local ingredients in the tasting were super fresh and delicious. On the tour, you go down a lava tunnel which is slippery underfoot and probably not for the claustrophobic!
Awesome experience, I highly recommend it! Luca was a great tour guide. We saw a lot of different parts of the SE side of Etna and learned a lot about how it works and the history of it, and ended the tour with some amazing food.
We went as a family of 4 ( children age 3 and 9). The staff were welcoming and very knowledgeable. Our guide " Cicho" was really enthusiastic about his job and this beautiful country. He interacted with us really well and was lovely to our children. There was a lot of fascinating information which was possibly too much for our kids but really interesting for us.
We stayed to have lunch at the meeting point and this was just beautiful. The food and beverages available were delicious..we had a thoroughly lovely time.
Our guide Seba was very knowledgeable and explained the volcano well. He made sure we were getting to do interesting things while caring about our safety. We felt very safe and had an amazing time around the volcano. Etna itself was beautiful and the views from the mountain were unbeatable. Definitely recommend touring Etna and learning all about it!
