Canyons and Antelope Island
Shawn was very accommodating and professional. Great communicator right from the start. He allowed us to tailor the day as we wanted to. and he was super flexible about time.
I told him we had a hard time deciding about spending our one full day of touring around Salt Lake City between Antelope Island and the canyons. He combined the to for us, which was super.

This was an interesting...
This was an interesting and informative excursion, especially if you have heard of the Bonneville Salt Flats all your life like I had. Always wanted to see where the land speed records were done. The guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and very attentive.

Best Tour
100/10
This tour was one of the best tours I have ever been on. The guide was amazing, everyone had the best time. Exceptional value for what we did, watching the sunset and moon rise behind the mountains was a very welcomed surprise. The Salt Flats were beautiful also. Can’t recommend this tour enough!

Great tour guide Johnny
Johnny was a great guide during this whole trip. He kept on modifying the itinerary to accommodate all the places and in spite of bad weather due to his smart decision, we were able to visit all places with good weather. He was very nice and helping everyone per their needs. I definitely recommend this tour. The only thing which I feel should be done in the tour is it should be 4 days because last and first day is when people visit city on their own, so 5th day is mostly a free day.

Antelop Island Wildlife Expedition/Great Salt Lake Adventure
We wanted to do a capstone tour at the conclusion of our Mighty 5 + tour of Utah and Colorado. This was the right call - in every respect! Dmytro (Dima) tour operator for Matei Travel was top notch from beginning to end! What a font of knowledge about Salt Lake City - History, Statistics, Geology, the Flora and Fauna of the area - especially in regard to the Antelope Island State Park/The Great Salt Lake and Salt Lake City in general.
Very Kind, very helpful throughout the tour (essentially a 5-star performance from start to finish!).
If you don't have any hard plans for a tour in Salt Lake City - this is the one to put on your list of to-dos!

Fantastic Way to Explore Salt Lake City — Helpful Staff, Great Views & Easy Tracking
I had a great experience with SLC Bus Tours during our visit to Salt Lake City. We took the Hop-On Hop-Off tour on a Sunday, and while some attractions were closed that day, the driver did an excellent job letting everyone know what was still open and worth visiting. That was extremely helpful and made planning our stops much easier.
Customer service was also fantastic — very responsive, friendly, and easy to reach with questions before boarding. I have been all over US and Europe, and I haven't seen anywhere near to such caring staff.
One of the best features was the live online bus tracking map, which made it simple to know exactly where the bus was and when to head to the stop. It removed a lot of the stress that usually comes with sightseeing transportation.
We were lucky to ride on the open-top bus, and the views of downtown Salt Lake City and the surrounding mountains were incredible. It made for a really fun and memorable way to explore the city.
Highly recommend this tour for both first-time visitors and locals wanting to see the city from a different perspective!

Learning Experience
My dad loves boat rides, and he has never been to Salt Lake. We booked the short 45 minute boat ride hoping to learn more about the history of the lake and to be on a boat. Both of our objectives were met. Our tour guides (we think their names were Jake and Nate?) were very knowledgeable and friendly. They were happy to answer questions and seems well informed. Would recommend for something quick to do.

The tour is a nice...
The tour is a nice overview of the various points of interest in Salt Lake City.
Our guide did a great job pointing out various things and even offered suggestions for things to visit at a later point.
Of course, the highlight of the tour was hearing the magnificent Mormon Tabernacle Choir rehearse.
We had the pleasure of having a former choir member come on the bus and speak with us and gave us some really neat background information of what all goes into the audition process and what's expected/ required of the members. It really gave me a new understanding of the dedication the members have to make.

A unique and lifting experience!
It is like no other! We truly enjoyed the immersive story telling of the history of SLC by Shayla and Catherine - A unique way to easily absorb the history and unique couture of the city . It left us feeling elated and wanting to dig even further into what makes this City one that we’d love to return to . Thank you ladies from 2 widely travelled Yorkshire people!

Worth it!
Wonderful visit to an uncommon natural beauty. Saw burrowing owls, great horned owls, numerous other birds and literally hundreds of bison. Dima is the sweetest most hardworking tour guide who will do everything to ensure you see as much wildlife as you can. Amazed by how much he knows about Utah history and how well he summarizes it for the casual travelers.

Discover Salt Lake City
To discover the city for the first time, the tour is great and we learned a lot. The tour guide was easy to understand and he knew a lot of stories about the city. However, the bus had some technical issues with the air conditioning, which made the tour less enjoyable as it was too hot inside and difficult to breathe.

Great bike tour of the...
Great bike tour of the city. I did this the first day of my stay in SLC. On the bike, it gave me an opportunity to see the lay of the land and information from my guide allowed me to note places I’d want to add to my itinerary throughout my stay. Ride was not challenging as most of SLC is flat and very bike friendly. My guide also offered excellent restaurant and local hiking recommendations.
