The guided tour was definitely value added!
Our tour guide gave us so much information- definitely more than we could have gotten by going through without a guide. He seemed to be a very genuine and honest person when he explained the information he passes on to us and why he guides tours. We had children with us and the tour was child friendly as was our guide.

Rome visit.
Reservations and collection of tickets from agent near entrance very easy and fast. I recommend a visit to this site to anyone visiting Rome. Brilliant place. Only regret the Corridor of Pope's was booked out.

Lots of steps involved,...
Lots of steps involved, so if you are handicapped then this is not the activity for you. The top floor provides a wonderful view of Rome.

  • The large terrace, where Puccini's heroine jumped to her death in his opera Tosca, has spectacular views over the Eternal City.

  • Kids enjoy the large collection of historic weapons and armor displayed in the museum.

  • The sumptuous Pope Paul III Papal Apartments are decorated with perfectly preserved Renaissance frescoes, a highlight for art aficionados.
