After a rough start,...
After a rough start, driver was stuck in traffic and arrived 45 minutes late, we had a great day. The driver Andre was very knowledgeable about the area. First stop was a market that made you wish you lived in that area. The winery visits were both excellent and the tile shop was impressive. The recommended lunch spot was also very good. We unfortunately did not make it into the mountains because there was too much fog.

Duoro Valley Wine Tour
It's a full day adventure. Our guide Tiago maybe the experience super fun. He was extremely personable and friendly, and took care of everyone on the tour.
The first two wineries we visited had beautiful views of their vineyards, and the third winery was in a quaint part of town.
The olive oil oil tasting was fun, and the lunch was delicious.
We would do this tour again, and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Duoro Valley.
Thank you Tiago for a great day and wonderful memories.

Best Tour in Portugal
Our guide Jean was the best and made us feel like family. He was extremely kind, patient, and attentive. The lunch was spectacular would go back for this! The boat ride was so peaceful and quiet on a private boat. If you are considering you should definitely do this!!!

Excellent trip. Well...
Excellent trip. Well organized. The team took good care of the logistics and ensuring everyone got on the boat safely. The crew on the boat was top notch and took time to show the caves from close up. Also stopped at a safe place to allow folks to swim.
The guide was great. Good sense of humor and good info about each location on the way to the caves. They also had a bar on the boat allowing for drinks if needed.
Only observation is that the boat that we were taking apparently had two levels. The upper deck was extra money which was not mentioned at the time of booking. This extra money was only revealed at the time of boarding - which was a bit strange. Never seen that before and also it made the boat a bit cramped at the lower deck while there were only 4 people on the upper deck.
Overall we enjoyed the trip - highly recommend.

Fantastic experience in the Douro Valley
Boutique, small group tour that takes you to family owned local medium to small producers for a local Douro experience.
Our guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions about Portuguese life, culture & wine.
Scenery was stunning, wine was amazing, lunch was wonderful.

10/10 experience in...
10/10 experience in learning how to make Pastel De Nata. Instructor was very kind and engaging. Would recommend for anyone looking to learn how to make this pastry as it was very beginner friendly. I went there solo and made a friend so don’t be afraid to out yourself out there! Everyone was super friendly.

My husband and I had a great time on this wine tour! Since it was just the two of us, it felt very personalized and we got to know Anna, our guide, more. Her fun company made the experience so much more enjoyable and she really knows a lot about the wineries’ history, people, culture, everything Portuguese. Highly recommend doing this tour!

Great communication, nice drivers, lovely vans
This was super smooth and organized. Our pickup driver, Nelson, sent us a message with pictures of the meeting point and clear directions. When we arrived, he was waiting with a sign for us and walked us straight to the van parked nearby. The organizer also messaged in advance to confirm our pickup time for the return trip, which was just as smooth. If you're looking for a first class experience, I recommend this service.

Unforgettable Douro day with Bernardo
We had a private Douro Valley tour with Bernardo and it was outstanding. He has a warm, easygoing personality and speaks perfect English, which made the whole day smooth and fun. He was incredibly accommodating with our pace and preferences, and his driving was excellent the entire time: smooth, safe, and relaxed on those winding valley roads.
Bernardo is also very knowledgeable about Portuguese history, wine, and local culture, and he is genuinely open-minded and curious about other cultures. We learned a lot, never felt rushed, and enjoyed thoughtful stops and great conversation.
If we return to Portugal, we will book with Living Tours again and ask for Bernardo by name. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a stress-free, informative, and memorable Douro experience.

Beautiful & engaging cruise with fun guides!
My husband and I booked this sunset cruise for the first night of our honeymoon. We started the cruise in the rain (recommend bringing raincoats just in case) but it cleared up and ended with a beautiful sunset! Even while it was raining, Vasco & Fernando kept the energy high by offering plenty of wine and telling us about Portugal's history. Our glasses were never empty! It was a fun way to see Lisbon (even when super tired from traveling) and figure out what sights we wanted to explore more on our trip. Highly recommend this cruise -- Vasco & Fernando really made it a memorable experience!

Pocas delivered great experience.
Pocas was just what we needed in a wine tour, very informative, small group and our guide was spot on and we had plenty of time to ask questions on the tour. We sampled 4 types of port at the end without being rushed at all and in a super setting. It’s a hidden gem and scale ( not too
Massive) gave you a clear understanding of Port from a family winery.

Portuguese wine has had a resurgence in popularity in recent years above and beyond the fame of port, the country’s famous fortified dessert wine. Choose Portugal wine-tasting tours in the Setúbal and Arrábida regions near Lisbon, where you can try red and white varietals on small family vineyards. Or, opt to stay in the city where you can taste wine at local food markets and where oenophiles can help you pair the drink with organic foods. And, of course, learn all about port in the Douro Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site so named for its prominence in wine production.
