It was a lovely and well-organised trip. Everything went smoothly, our guide Ricardo was very nice and shared a ton of interesting information. I would certainly recommend this trip to others. Please be prepared that these places are much colder than Lisbon and quite windy. We were all really cold most of the time except for Ricardo, who wore long trousers and softshell jacket.

Steep uphill to Pena palace. Slow moving lines to visit inside the palace which may severely reduce your time on the tour. We barely had 15 minutes to explore inside the palace before we had to head back to our bus meeting time….i recommend not going inside under these conditions. Exploring the outside allows a better, more leisurely experience.

I had a fantastic day trip to Porto, Óbidos and Nazaré with our guide Paul. He did an excellent job throughout the whole day - friendly, approachable and very engaging, with lots of interesting information presented in a really enjoyable way. Everything was very well organised and the timing was spot on. We had enough time to explore Porto and enjoy a proper walk around the city without feeling rushed. Paul also gave us some really useful recommendations - and the peanut biscuits he suggested were simply fantastic! The coach was comfortable, and on the way back we had a bus with phone charging facilities, which was a very welcome bonus. It was also possible to buy water on board. The day simply flew by. It was interesting, varied and packed with beautiful places and spectacular views. I really appreciated the opportunity to see so much and take some amazing photos along the way. A big thank you to Paul for making the whole experience so enjoyable and memorable! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to see more of Portugal in one day.
