We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting trip to Douro Valley! The tour guide Slimmy and driver Manuel couldn’t have organised it any better. The six-hour duration was just right, and the experience was made even more enjoyable with singing, wine tasting, and lots of useful and interesting information along the way. First, we advise against having breakfast: the lunch was very good and very hearty, which we didn't mind at all. You can also give your dietary restrictions to the guide. The valley is incredibly beautiful, almost unreal. The vineyard tour was pleasant and we learned some interesting things. This tour also allowed us to compare it with French expertise! We recommend this outing, eyes closed. Thanks again to our guide, Ricardo, for his friendliness and good humor!

Anna was a great driver- very informative and so fun to listen to. Her personality fits her job - helpful, funny and interesting! It was our first day and first experience in Porto. We booked a private city highlights tour with hotel pickup, and it was hands down one of the highlights of our entire trip. If you take this tour, do yourself a huge favor and request Joao! ​From the minute he arrived right on time at our hotel, Joao set the bar high. His van was spotless, modern, and exceptionally comfortable. Navigating Porto's steep hills and narrow streets can be tricky, but his driving was smooth, calm, and reassuring throughout the day. ​What impressed us most was Joao's incredible thoughtfulness and willingness to go the extra mile. We had someone in our group who was dealing with an injury, and Joao was endlessly patient and accommodating, ensuring drop-offs and pick-ups were as easy and accessible as possible so no one felt left behind or rushed. To top it off, he even took extra time out of the route to help my husband track down a specific watch store he had been hoping to find - a personal touch that truly went above and beyond any standard itinerary. ​On top of being professional, attentive, and knowledgeable, Joao is just wonderful company. He is courteous and genuinely funny. Since we speak Portuguese, the witty banter and laughs back and forth made the day fly by. It honestly felt less like a hired tour and more like spending an afternoon exploring the city with a great local friend. ​Joao made sightseeing completely effortless, stress-free, and memorable. This was outstanding! So detailed and the guide was super knowledgeable but also very entertaining! John made this tour fantastic with his enthusiasm and knowledge about the city- you need for tour guides like John for sure- he made every stop worthwhile and interesting!

Ricardo was our guide. Happened we were the only two on this tour. Pace was excellent. Places we visited, route taken, and Information given was the perfect amount.
