We learned a lot about the history of Portugal and the area. Our guide, Jorge, was really experienced and knowledgeable, he was patient and kind.
There’s walking involved, but with that comes beautiful views and a delicious lunch!

Very good trip. Our guide was perfect. It was over 100 degrees today and he made sure we stayed in shade as much as possible. Very informative. Lunch was very good also

Nuno was hands down one of the best guides we could have ever asked for. He was incredibly knowledgeable on our day trip to Braga and Guimares. We went to several churches and had a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. We learned more about the Catholic faith which in turn has strengthened our faith. Couldn’t have asked for a better day!

Jorge was a great guide. Informative, engaging, always ready with an answer to a question. Kept us on schedule with clear directions, had a great lunch set up for us. I’ll say though, the experience felt a little weak esp after the second location (Guimaraes) just wasn’t worth the travel IMO.

From beginning to end on time service pick up and our tour guide Miguel S. was exceptional. Miguel was knowledgeable and knows his history regarding Portugal and then some! The restaurant Daniel was absolutely lovely and the food was delicious! We wish we had more time to shop! So many quaint little shops to explore! Excellent day! Thank you Miguel!

Loved it. Plenty of time to explore. Guide was excellent. I really enjoyed the lunch. And the attractions just staggering in their beauty. Take the time to walk up the stairs at the church - they are not steep so it's an easy and enjoyable climb.

This was our favorite experience while in Porto. Both towns are amazing. You feel like you are stepping back in time. It’s a long day but worth every minute. Our guide, Nuno, was very knowledgeable and kept us on time so we could squeeze in so much. This is a must tour while in Porto and a welcome escape from the city.

We've spent two weeks in Porto, Lisbon and the Douro and wanted to get out of town. This was the perfect tour. Despite today being a completely rainy day, this tour ended up being a highlight of my trip thanks to our fantastic guide, George. To be honest, the poor weather definitely drained my energy a bit, but George’s incredible enthusiasm completely made up for the gloomy skies. He shared tons of fascinating history and deep background stories behind every single place we visited. His massive wealth of knowledge really filled all the gaps left by the rain and kept us all thoroughly engaged. Beyond his historical expertise, George went completely out of his way to make sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves despite the wet conditions. Kudos to George for giving it his all—he turned what could have been a miserable, washed-out day into a highly memorable and educational adventure. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you are lucky enough to get George as your guide!

A wonderful tour to Braga and Guimarães with our awesome guide, Nuno! Even though he’s only been on the job for two weeks, he handled the tour with confidence, warmth, and great knowledge. Our first stop at Bom Jesus was absolutely beautiful and a perfect way to start the day. Wonderful day with Jorge. Our tour guide Jorge was a delight. He kept us both informed and entertained the entire day and made it an unforgettable tour. Both sites are well worth visiting. We were never rushed and Jorge always had suggestions on how to make the best use of our time. The lunch in Braga was also excellent. Traditional Portuguese but with dishes and flavors we had not experienced elsewhere. Really from start to finish a first rate tour. Thank you Jorge. Highly recommend.

It was fun to visit some of the most historic sites of Portugal on this trip. Our guide & driver was great throughout the entirety of the itinerary, and we didn't feel rushed or in a hurry at all. I had such a great time on this tour and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Porto. It’s a really easy and well-organised way to see both Braga and Guimarães in one day.
Everything felt perfectly planned — we had enough time at each stop to explore without feeling rushed, but also didn’t waste any time. The balance between guided information and free time was ideal.
The lunch was honestly perfect — a great chance to try traditional Portuguese food and relax in the middle of the day. It really added to the overall experience.
The small group made it feel much more personal and enjoyable, and the whole day just flowed smoothly from start to finish.

Our tour guide was a rockstar, super knowledgeable and shared a lot of information in every stop and on the way.
Great tour to get a sense of Portugal's history with good views from important locations.
Lunch was really good, not your usual fast food or sandwich in a bag but a sit down restaurant with good options.
Great for fist timers in Porto as it makes it really easy to visit these places.
