Welcome to the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. Join the eagles, osprey, salmon and sturgeon on an epic journey on the Columbia River. Starting out in beautiful Herman Creek Cove we'll get comfortable with the kayaks and explore the crystal clear waters as we paddle a gentle inlet of Herman Creek toward an old fish hatchery From there we head out onto the Columbia, staying near the shore and letting the wind of the gorge push us to our next cove while soaking up the majesty or this amazing river. The wind will blow us down to Government Cove where a secluded cove full of wildlife awaits. We'll pause for a water break on the shore and get a chance to watch the birds soar over the water. After some more exploring of beautiful Government Cove we'll paddle to shore and hop on a 5 minute shuttle back to where we started. The shuttle allows us to paddle downwind, making this tour suitable for those who can walk about 100 yards through the woods and are comfortable in a kayak.

We’re definitely Keeping It Weird on the Underground Donut Tour - Portland Holiday Edition. Come join us as we take a stroll through downtown Portland and try some of the best donuts you'll ever have in your life. Seriously, these donuts are amazing. The tour starts near the PSU campus where we try an assortment of donuts. Next, we take a leisurely walk through the park towards downtown Portland. Along the way you'll learn about Portland history, both for donuts as well as the larger restaurant industry. Depending on what's open that day, we may stop at one of several donut shops downtown, so make sure to bring your appetite. Biking on the roads and highways around the mountain we call Wy'East -- after the Indigenous name -- has been described as one of the most beautiful rides in the world. From stunning vistas to a profusion of summer wildflowers to towering forests and lakes glinting through the trees. Small waterfalls tumble down the sides of the andesite lava walls of the mountain; valleys with countless mountains rolling away in the distance are all around. We offer routes at 23, 40 and 60 miles depending on your interests and the group, with some significant elevation change but more downhill than up. E-bikes are an option. Cycling Wy'East is an exercise in approachable adventure; with 23-60 miles (40-100 km) of riding from near the timberline down into the nearly sea level town of Hood River. Our adventure is adjustable for your experience level but this is the most challenging of our many bike tours and anyone's day tours offered from Portland. Lunch stop, on your own, is part of the day.
