Glass blowing was...
Glass blowing was incredible! Burano looked like a picture book! We will return if we are ever in the area again.

Nice travel
Very nice travel with very competent guides, Mr. Alvise in particular. Excellent stops at a Murano glass factory, a Burano lace workshop, and at the scenic island of Torcello.

Marvelous island trip....
Marvelous island trip. Make sure to go to Torcello and it’s a good place to eat lunch at a nice restaurant away from the crowds of Burano. Our guide Clementina was 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! The glass blowing tour is ok but ends with a hard sell of expensive handmade glass products.

We had two guides. Gaia...
We had two guides. Gaia told us about the founding of Venice on our way to the islands of Murano and Burano. Phillipe was a knowlegeable and entertaining expert on the Doges Palace and the Basilica. We shared our gondola ride with a friendly American couple. It was a long day but worth every penny.

Burano
  • A boat trip to Burano is a must for photography buffs, who will love capturing the vibrant colors.

  • Venice island tours require getting on and off a boat, so confirm wheelchair and stroller accessibility ahead of time.

  • Burano lace, like Murano glass, is made entirely by hand and is very expensive. Don't be fooled by cheap industrial knock-offs sold at many souvenir shops.

  • The island's main street is lined with souvenir shops, cafés, and restaurants.
