Not what was expected.
Transportation can be secured with much quicker public ferry service for much less expense.
We watched public ferry fly by while we chugged along wasting time.

We had a stressful start as at no point does your booking information explain that there is a stand to exchange your ticket. We were sent a mobile ticket and an address. We arrived at the address on the waterfront, lots of tour guides but no one knew where we were to meet our guide. I managed to find a stand selling tours, only to be told I was at the correct place, gave me the tickets and told us to run as we had 3 bridges to cross to meet our guide... 10 minutes away! More information is required on the booking please! The tour was worthwhile. We enjoyed Burano more than Murano as there was more to see and do.

It was ok.
You’re really just paying for transport to and from the islands. We couldn’t hear the guide properly on the boat. There’s no guide with you once you’re on the islands.

In Murano After watching the glass blowing/creating and having to go upstairs to look around the art gallery there was nearly any time to look at the other shops or explore the island, needed at least another 30 minutes there

Very nice tour, would have liked to have had more time on the island of Burano having lunch and visiting all of the shops. Not any fault of the tour, just didn’t realize there was so much to see.

The glass making demonstration in Murano was excellent and the beautiful coloured houses in Burano very pretty. After seeing a laceworker at work in Burano, I have a new respect for the art. We were impressed by the tour guide’s multi- linguistics. She was really great and informative to a wide variety of nationalities.

We were very disappointed in that we couldn't hear the tour guide announce that we could go through the town of Murano. Instead, we thought we were only allowed to be in the factory for the allotted time. We didn't get to see any of the town and that is very disappointing to us. I will not recommend this tour to anyone.

Burano island was pretty . We thought we would see lace making but were disappointed. The lace museum was closed .
The street was full of shops selling expensive clothes . We saw nothing of Murano, only a class blowing demonstration which was good . Then very expensive gift shop.

We’ve had amazing and informative tours with Viator in the past. This was unfortunately not one of those tours. It was really more like an expensive boat ride to and from the islands with 10 minutes (!) observing glass production in Murano. The rest of the 4 hour session was designated by the “guides” as free time. We also assumed the whole tour would be in English but instead the “tour” info provided over the speaker system on the boat was done in a very rushed fashion in 3-4 languages—making it difficult to even differentiate/hear/understand the English portions. It’s the first Viator experience I would NOT recommend.

We had a great day with the weather being perfect. The glass making demo was amazing albeit short. Great to look around Burano but really needed another hour to be able to explore then relax for lunch and wine!! Guides were very good, knowledgable and helpful.

Both islands were beautiful! I enjoyed the time we had at each one. However, the location of the tour boat in Burano was very hard to find; a few signs or a member of your crew standing out where they could direct people into the right little calle would have been very helpful.

Nice tour and guide.
I would have given it five stars but we were told two times this was not our tour. We could not get a hold of the operator. Finally the third time we asked (the same check in person) she said "oh yes thats your tour, run to catch them im sorry."
Once we got on the tour (they held the boat for us) it was nice, good commentary. Not enough time on Murano but a good taste.
I would suggest to the operator that they give the check in person a little help. She was very busy and tried to check our names but seemed rushed and if I had not pushed (asked three times) we would have missed our tour.

The glass-blowing demonstration was short, but the store where you could buy glass pieces was fantastic. Burano is as beautiful and colourful as the pictures show, and absolute must-do.

When to Venice with my best friend and we took this tour, the boat was really fun and had a great breeze to help with the Venice summer heat! Glass blowing was actually really interesting and that coming from a 28 year old girl. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something casual to do for the day!

Rather disappointed! The guide (don’t know her name as she did not introduce herself) arrived late and headed off from the meeting point dead on the start time. She did not have a list of those in the group and did not check if the right number of people were there. She told us to follow her to the boat which was hard to keep up due to the crowds and the speed she was walking. If she had lost anyone she would not have known. Boat stopped on the 3 islands but she told us virtually nothing except their names and what they were famous for. The glass factory demonstration lasted about 10 mins but was quite interesting. Would have been better to have got the public ferry and have the ability to stay longer and use a guide book to learn more.

Creo que es una experiencia que sí es la primera vez que vienes a Venecia tienes que ir, ahora bien éramos un montón de personas para subir en el ferry, la visita a la fábrica del vidrio vale la pena pero se hace muy corta la estancia que te dejan luego allí para pasear por Murano (una media hora), la ciudad nos pareció muy bonita. En cambio en Burano puedes visitar libremente la ciudad, pero creemos que era demasiado rato el que nos dejaron, casi 2h, pasamos algo de frío en el ferry.
