    Nice day experience

    Sterna_V, Mar 2026
It is a fun, full-day experience. It was informative, but the headset quality was poor and it was hard to hear the guide.

I didn't see the value, almost half of the 5 hours are spent inside a boat going from island to island

    Philip_G, Feb 2026
The tour qas both in Spanish and English ... I wasn't made aware this was the case, I was led to believe it was in English only. This the tour is consumed mostly by boating from island to island, about 2 hours of it. The main reason for selecting the tour was to see the glass blowing demonstrations.. unfortunately it lasted less than 10 minutes. I should've spent 9 euro each way to take the boat over to Murano, most of the glass factories offer free entrance to the demonstrations. I'm not complaining about the tour guide, she was great, I just didn't see the value

    Don’t waste your time

My wife and I were disappointed with this tour. Murano and Burano. We took a boat ride to both of these islands. The first stop was clearly a tourist trap. They took us to a little village with nothing in it, except shops and places for you to eat. We got the impression that we were there to help their economy. The glass blowing part of the tour was also disappointing, actual glass blowing lasted about 20 minutes, and then the rest of the time was spent being ushered around to buy the glass. Very disappointed would not recommend

There really wasn't any tour we just were ferried over to the islands. We had two presentations of how the lace or glass was made then it was a big sales pitch by the owners to buy things. Go no history or background of the island or craft.

It’s informative and worth the trip. Enjoyed it all. Burano was a wonderful surprise. I had only been looking forward to Murano.

    Time allowed for Murano...

    Leonard_B, Jul 2025
Time allowed for Murano was too short for touring the town and shops. Also, the actual glass blowing demonstration was too short and superficial. Bottom line: take the inexpensive water bus to these islands and tour them yourself at your leisure.

    Great Murano and Burano tour!

Our guide Claudia was phenomenal! She gave great suggestions for our dinner plans and also she was such a thorough guide. Kept us on time without making it stressful. I would love to go with her again.

Great fun! Burano was a treat! Loved the glass blowing demonstration and factory. The lace is really spectacular and great shopping!

    More sales-driven than informative.

    David_J, Sep 2024
A little abrupt (glassblowing) and not much information was shared. Our guide who took us over was good. But once at the glassblowing, it seemed more designed to generate sales at the gift store. My second time with Viator. You HAVE to do a better job at making the starting address obvious. It takes forever to find it it’s so well hidden.

Too short. Big delay before the toor. Glass exhibition and workshop experience were lame. Everybody was in a rush

    MariosLeandros_B, Jun 2024
Too short. Big delay before the toor. Glass exhibition and workshop experience were lame. Everybody was in a rush. The glass shop was extremely expensive compared to the others, pretending there was a 50% special discount for the group.

A great show. Good for all ages. it was fascinating to watch the master glass blower create a horse in such a short amount of time.

    Cool glass blowing tour

    Alan_W, Apr 2024
Claudia our guide was terrific. She had the added credibility of being from Venice and having a father and grandfather who owned a glass blowing factory.

    Murano Glass Blowing Tour

    Mary_C, Oct 2023
The tour was disappointing. Although it was a small group, we couldn't hear much of what the tour leader said. It would have been better if she (Claudia) had a microphone and we had been provided with ear buds. The worst part was that when we arrived at the factory, we were ushered in to a demonstration in English that was almost over. A Portuguese speaking group then entered, and we sat through a demo in Portuguese. Then our English speaking guide tried to tell us that we were finished, but we insisted that we had paid for a tour in English, so he reluctantly agreed to provide it. Would not recommend this tour.

    Don’t Bother

    Michael_B, Oct 2023
Was really just a sales pitch to get visitors to buy glass. The most interesting part of the experience, the actual glass blowing demo was only a few brief minutes. Definitely could have skipped this one. The tour guide was super nice and knowledgeable so kudos to her but overall a waste of money.

Dear Guest, we are deeply sorry for your personal comment, please consider that the glassblowing demonstration, rich of interesting curiosities about the tradition of glassblowing, is appreciated by the clients. At your disposal for further information. Regards.

    Very interesting tour.

Since we had to wait 45 minutes to get the water taxi situation straightened out, I couldn't give a five-star rating. Our guide, however, was really great. Very informative, easy to understand and flexible when it came to what we wanted to do on our tour. He made the walking part of the tour very easy. We had seven in our group so it was small. Since we had to wait so long at the beginning, he added that time on at the end. Watching the glassblower in action was very interesting and it showed he was very skilled in the art. It is a touristy area so our guide gave us time to shop.

    So good.

Marco was excellent. Everything was set up and ready to go when we arrived. He was very accommodating and patient as we moved thru the wines. We ended up shipping a dozen bottles home. ~~Debbie Talaska and Chelsea ( mother and daughter)
