Ricardo was an excellent guide! He was the best guide we had so far here in Italy. The sight itself is amazing but with Ricardo’s explanations it made it become even more interesting. His knowledge about Pompeii and about history in general was impressive.

If you're touring Pompeii, ask for Italo. His passion for the place was obvious from the start, and it made the whole tour so much fun. By the end, we could actually identify the different types of buildings ourselves, which felt awesome. We never once felt rushed. It honestly felt like a good friend was showing us around, not just a guide reciting facts. Can't recommend Italo enough!

While the hike up Mount Vesuvius was cancelled due to lightning, we truly enjoyed plan B, which was the visit of Ercolano. Our guide Mario was wonderful, sharing his knowledge of the history of the eruption. At Pompeii, we followed Ilaria, our expert guide. Having worked on the site herself, she had so much to teach us. We fully enjoyed both visits.

Wonderful your with an expert guide. I didn’t love the type of audio earpieces they used compared to other excursions I’ve been on but that’s just a minor issue. I would recommended that they move to the more traditional headphone connection in the future.

This was such an incredible tour. Being with a private guide and skipping all the lines was worth every penny. Our guide was Vitelo and he was excellent. We were able to see so many fascinating places that we would have missed otherwise. Highly recommend doing this tour In Pompeii.

Excellent tour! Our group was a bit worn out after touring Herculaneum earlier that day, so we asked Eliana if we could condense our Pompeii visit to 90 minutes. Not only was she flexible, but she also saved the day when I realized I only had a voucher instead of actual tickets. She graciously helped us navigate the ticket office (pro tip: buy directly from the official Pompeii site!) despite the time crunch. Eliana quickly pivoted and curated a 'greatest hits' route that covered every major area. We were especially in awe of the new house and bakery her team is currently excavating—truly fabulous stuff! She is personable, incredibly knowledgeable, and answered every question we had. Highly recommend!

No hesitation. Romolo was exceptional. His knowledge is deep and fascinating, but what really makes him stand out is how he brings everything to life. You’re not just walking through ruins, you’re stepping into stories, history, and moments that suddenly feel real and vivid. His energy is contagious, and he has an incredible way with people, especially kids. Keeping children engaged in Pompeii is no easy task, yet he had them completely hooked the entire time. They were curious, excited, and fully immersed from start to finish. Out of everything we experienced on this trip, this was the tour we’ll be talking about for years. It was engaging, memorable, and genuinely special. I can’t recommend Romolo highly enough! If you want a Pompeii experience that’s meaningful, dynamic, and unforgettable, he’s your guide.

My husband and I had a wonderful time learning some history, science, and archeology from our tour guide. He was very open to and knowledgeable about the questions we had. We would have loved to explore the whole space with our guide but when our tour was finished, he helped send us in the direction we were interested in continuing to explore. I would highly recommend!
