Valeria was FABULOUS! It was a hot day, but she made sure to stop in the shade and give us all the information. In each location she was knowledgeable, and answered questions. She made the tour of Pompeii very enjoyable and really come to life. After our tour was over, she told us other parts that we had to see. There isn’t another way to see Pompeii.

We had a wonderful tour. It was relatively quiet because we started our tour at 3 pm only. Our guide, Natalia, made it such a valuable experience. She has great knowledge, is obviously passionate about Pompeii herself, told us lots of fun facts and shared so much information with us. Thank you so much Natalia! And we followed your tip and went to have tea inside the Gambrinus restaurant. Amazing!

Thank you Matilda for a wonderful experience. I’m so glad we booked a private tour so we could go at the right pace for our family. We had a private tour with Natalie, and it was one of the highlights of our week-long tour of Rome/Naples. It was just the right pace and level of information. Our full family (three 20-ish year old sons + parents) all found it very engaging and enjoyed it. We also had to communicate with the tour company in the hour leading up to the tour because we were afraid we were going to be late, and they were very responsive and accomodating, assuring us it would not be a problem.

We went in the middle of August and the heat was quite intense. So although the site is huge and in two hours you can only see a small portion, it was definitely the right choice. We went early which helped us avoid some of the heat and much of the crowds. Our guide was quite good. Highly recommend.

Julia has excellent knowledge and commentary that brings the ruins and restorations to life. She added so much color. If you have kids she is a must for your trip. She was conscious of the erotic and sexual areas and warned us and added proper context where applicable. Thank you for bringing such and amazing and rich city back to life.

Our visit to Pompeii exceeded our expectations as our tour guide Daniela Mantice lead us through the highlights. The ruins are fascinating as is everyday life of Romans before 79AD. We returned the next day to explore more of the amazing archeological park. I wish I had hired Daniela Mantice again for our second visit.

Pompeii is incredible! I’ll start there. We really weren’t expecting to be so amazed but it’s an incredible place. Of all the Roman ruins this was the first time I got a real glimpse into their everyday lives. Much of that was due to our guide Daniela. She was amazing. She knew everything about every stone in Pompeii and also knew how to keep us away from the massive tour groups that are everywhere. Awesome experience!

Our guide Emmanuela was fantastic. She splits time between archaeological digging and giving tours so she is very knowledgeable. Definitely do this tour at 9am before the crowds and heat peak at mid day. Also, I'd suggest getting there by train from Sorrento ( take ferry from Positano or naples to Sorrento). This will avoid an expensive taxi trip.
