The day was all that we expected and more. The guide, Antonio, was fantastic and gave us an interesting and thorough history of Pompeii. It came to life because of his descriptions. This tour was one of the best I've been on. We had a lovely lunch in a restaurant almost on top of the sea. Our driver, Alessandro, suggested it and it was perfect after the morning at Pompeii. We spent time in Sorrento, and then back to the boat.

The Perfect Excursion

Antonino was amazing! From the moment we got in the vehicle until our tour was over he was giving us information. The knowledge he had about Pompeii was incredible. He pulled over numerous times for us to get pictures at "the perfect Instagram spot" on the way to both Sorrento and Positano. We even got fresh squeezed lemonade at one of the spots on a mountainside cliff. The whole experience was simply perfect. We couldn't have asked for anything better!

This was a fabulous tour! Alessandro ensured we saw everything we wanted to see and returned us to our ship on time! Positano and Sorrento were absolutely beautiful. Having a private driver for our party of 4 was so pleasant. Alessandro is very knowledgeable and pleasant and he was easy to find at the pier. I highly recommend this tour.

We can't say enough positive things about this tour and our driver/guide Antonino! We took the train from Rome first thing in the morning, and he was waiting for us with a sign where we could easily spot him. He suggested we go to Pompeii first and WOW, what an amazing tour & experience!!! Antonino is so knowledgeable and passionate about the history and ruins, I shudder to think we were contemplating a large group all day bus tour. This experience was well worth it to have a personal guide who is so personable, friendly and from the local area! We then drove over the mountains and to the coast - we got to see Sorrento and Positano. Antonino is from Sorrento, so having a driver that is proficient in the local roads on a rainy day was very comforting! We stopped along the way for pictures, breathtaking views and shopped for a while in Sorrento. After our time on the coast we drove back to Naples and he dropped us right back off at the train station. If you're on the fence, don't be!! We had such a wonderful experience and got to spend time and see things we would never have been able to with a large group. We were well taken care of the entire day and we look forward to doing more tours like this when we come back! Thank you so much Antonino!

We had an absolutely wonderful time with Marco and visiting these beautiful areas. We felt safe, comfortable, and benefited from his depth of knowledge and experience in the area. If you can book with Marco, don’t hesitate for a second. Traveling with a private driver was a huge benefit and made our trip easy and stress free. We covered a lot of ground and had plenty of time at each location. Marco was also very welcoming and kind and don’t hesitate to ask him anything or talk to him. Thank you!

Amazing Pompeii

Vincent our driver was so wonderful! He knew his way around and how to navigate through all the traffic. He was so friendly and easy to talk to and made us feel so comfortable. He made sure we were as close as possible to all the sights so we didn’t have to walk too much. Our tour guide at Pompeii was amazing and gave us so much history and knowledge that we would never have learned if we tried to do it on our own. I highly recommend this private tour!

Great Day Out in Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast.

We picked this tour because it covered the two things that we wanted to do while in Naples: Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast. Antonino was an excellent guide when he took us through Pompeii, and he brought our time in Pompeii to life and made it very interesting. Also, because we had a private car, the air conditioning was a plus as it was incredibly hot and humid that day. Plus Antonino being a local and having a smaller car, he knew how to get around the area by taking alternate routes and still keeping us on time, as we did encounter some traffic. He also gave us information about Sorrento and Positano, which we found helpful. When we were in Sorrento, we decided to skip the normal touristy area and have lunch by the port, also recommended by Antonio, and which we really appreciated. We had lots of time for pictures. I definitely would recommend this tour operator to anyone. 5 stars!

An incredible day out with a fantastic guide

This was an excellent day trip seeing the Pompeii highlights and having sufficient time to sample the Amalfi and Sorrento. Antonio (Tony) was an excellent driver, tour guide, and communicated well. He communicated well and gave us a good mix of guided time, but also family time. Pompeii itself is incredible and much larger than we thought. Tony did a great job at guiding us around, bringing the city to life with well timed stories and pictures.

We (family of 4, including 2 teens) had a highly enjoyable tour to Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast with Antonino. He met us at Napoli Centrale as we came in from Rome and was very friendly and welcoming, putting us at ease immediately. He also spoke very well and we had no trouble communicating. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. Opted for the guide service - Antonino turned out to be both driver and guide - at Pompeii and he was a wealth of information. Throughout the entire 2+ hours, he kept my 2 teens highly engaged and interested with his knowledge and humour. The drive to the Amalfi Coast took some time, but was made easy because of the comfort of the vehicle. However, be aware that there are some twisty roads and could be a bit challenging for those who get carsick easily - might want to be prepared. The Amalfi Coast is breathtaking, and Antonino stopped in a few spots for us to take photos, and in Sorrento for us to wander around this beautiful town while he very patiently waited for us. Antonino took us back to Naples for us to catch our train back to Rome and was very accommodating in helping uso find something daughter had lost in his car. I can only say that if I go back to that area for another trip, I would not hesitate to use this company again. Thanks for making this a memorable one!

A must-do if you want a day trip out of Rome or Naples.

Wow! What a great day. Easily our favorite day during a week-long stay in Rome. Antonio (our driver) was really sweet and modified our route to accommodate our needs. Antonino (our Pompeii guide) was super interesting and honestly, we could have spent a lot more than the time we booked. We ended up taking a little longer than planned (2.5 hours instead of 2) because there's really so much to see, so we had less time in Sorrento and Positano. As it was we had about an hour in each town. We could have easily spent a dayat each stop, but getting a taste of the Amalfi coast and north was really wonderful. We would definitely want to visit again. We went in March, and it was busy, but not so crowded as to be uncomfortable. If you're interested in the area and have a day to spare in Rome or Naples, we would highly, highly recommend these two! Pro tip- buy your entry tickets to Pompeii in advance so you can go right in. Also, try to arrive at the site right when they open to get the most out of the day. When you stop for lunch, tell the staff how much time you have so they can get you in and out rather quickly by Italian standards. They're happy to accommodate if they know you're in a rush.

Antonio is an excellent guide. He is knowledgeable, fun and experienced. We were able to do Sorrento, Positano and Pompeii in one day and enjoyed our time at each place. He came fully prepared and gave a lot of background and history. The tour he gave at Pompeii was fantastic. Antonio is very good at time management and brought us back to port in time. We would book future tours with him again when we come back.

Our driver picked us up at a time. He was extremely professional, very pleasant. Took us on a personally guided tour of Pompeii, which was unbelievable. Then we went through Sorrento. And Positano. Nice towns to visit. If you have the chance highly recommended.
