This small-group tour stands out by offering an off-road excursion through the “Secret” Antelope Canyon, a mostly undiscovered gem within the Lake Powell and Antelope Canyon system, and taking a private dirt road to the Horseshoe Bend Overlook. This is an all-hiking tour that begins at our location and takes you to Upper Antelope Canyon. Covering a 4 mile in total of walking (around 3 hour walking totally) there and back from the canyon to the STARTING POINT area. This is all hiking and there is NO shuttle transportation. Upper Antelope Canyon Trail will have shaded areas every quarter of a mile and water stations along the way to the Canyon to refill your bottles or jug containers.

Explore beyond the crowds: a guided walk through Secret Antelope Canyon plus an overlook of Horseshoe Bend away from the public viewpoint, in one 2.5-hour outing near Page, Arizona. From our check-in facility on Indian Route 6098, a shaded, cushioned open-air 4x4 tour truck takes you on a six-mile off-road drive across Navajo Nation land. A short walk of about 300 meters leads to the canyon; inside, the walk is flat and sandy, with time to photograph the light on the walls without being hurried. At Horseshoe Bend, the truck reaches within about 100 meters of the rim; a quarter-mile round-trip walk over sandstone brings you to the edge, 1,000 feet above the Colorado River. Groups are usually limited to 12. Horseshoe Bend Tours is Navajo-owned and has operated since 2017. A Navajo Nation permit ($15 per person) is required and paid separately by each guest. Arrive 30 minutes early. Arizona does not observe Daylight Saving Time.

Will be visiting [Glen Canyon Dam Overlook] A short hike down a set of rock-carved stairs leads to this viewpoint on the rim of the river & dam. And [Horseshoe Bend] will drive you back to your hotel to finish this tour.

Buckskin Gulch is one of the largest slot canyons and unless you know your way around, you may miss out on seeing some of the best parts of the canyon.
