Very informative!

Paola and Leo are very knowledgeable and kept us all captivated with all the specifics of Pompeii. About 20 in the group and we broke into an English speaking tour and an Italian. The smaller group feels more personal and you are able to converse with Leo as you walk which was very pleasant. Wear sneakers as there is a lot of stone dust, slippery marble, and uneven rock surfaces.

He shared interesting history at each stop and pointed out what to look out for, which made the trip even more meaningful. He also gave great recommendations on where to eat without overspending, which we really appreciated. Our time on the Amalfi Coast was absolutely incredible. The scenery is breathtaking, the food is amazing, and the views are unforgettable no matter where you go. It truly felt like the perfect getaway, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Excellent guide, manageable sized group, 2 hours about right amount of time. Our guide, Sara, conveyed a lot of information in such an interesting way, relating the site to Pompeii, the differences between them, and putting it all in historical context. Discussed differences between Greek and Roman building materials and brought to life what it must have been like to live in the city. The in-ear guides were good so it meant you could always hear what the tour guide was saying, even if a short distance away. I would imagine it could get pretty hot and tiring in high season but April was perfect.

Perfect day, incredible experience, moving, inspirational.

Do not miss this. If you go in summer the lines could be ages in the heat if you don't skip the line plus the guides are excellent. Sasa was fab! We were so lucky to be Able to see the reconstructed villa. The city is easy to imagine as a vibrant port and teenagers and preteens should really get a lot from it. April was a great time to go!

Unforgettable!

Amazing tour! Sorrento and Amalfi Coast are lovely to visit and beautiful to see, but Pompei really stole the show! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and we learned so much about the places we visited from him! Definitely would recommend! Important note however: If you're prone to car sickness, be sure to pack some travel sickness tablets. The winding roads leading to Sorrento can be quite tough to stomach (NOT the tour guide or the bus driver's fault! It's just the way the road was built).

A wonderful way to start a vacation!

Alexandra’s met us at the airport holding a sign with our last name on it so that it was easy to find him. The car was immaculate. He was an excellent driver, very professional and personable. A Great all day tour.

There are many tours of Pompeii, but the tour of Vesuvius made it special. This was the first time we had looked into a volcano - fortunately it looked very dormant. The Pompeii tour included the human victims, which I had not seen on 2 prior visits. The lunch was good.

Great tour with a 5 star tour guide.

It was an incredible experience. Our guide, Tizianna, was one of the best we have ever had in our travels. She lives in the area and knows it well, and had shortcuts to get us to the things we wanted to do without long lines. Went to the blue grotto which was so beautiful. On the chairlifts to the top of Anacapri, gave us a lovely local restaurant recommendation, and allowed us to make a change to our schedule to take a boat ride around the island that was worth every euro. She got us back to our ferry in time to get us to our ship. ABsolutely perfect day for all 8 of us traveling together.

Great day tour to Vesuvius and Pompei

The experience of the whole tour was very good. Our guide Mario from Askos Tour was very polite and knowledgeable about Mt. Vesuvius and explained a lot of things on our way to Vesuvius. The tour bus stops for lunch break in a good mall MaxiMall where there were lot of food choices before we headed to Pompei. The guide at Pompei was very knowledgeable about the history and archeology of the area and took time to answer every question from our group. We enjoyed the trip and will remember it as one of our memorable trips. Thank you Mario and thank you Askos tour for a great experience.

Francesca was an excellent tour guide. Though we came to see the Veiled Christ, which is simply exquisite, and there are no words to truly describe it, this tiny Chapel has so much more, there is so much more to the story. No photos allowed inside the chapel.
