We took a tour from...

We took a tour from Mexico City to Tolantongo Hot Springs, and it was an amazing experience. Pickup was easy, we had the option to be picked up from our Airbnb but chose to meet at the designated meeting point instead. Our guide, Charlie, made coordination simple and we had zero issues with logistics. The hot springs themselves were incredible, but the caves were the real highlight for us. We’ve travelled all over the world, seen many beautiful things, but the waterfalls and caves are one of the most beautiful things we have ever seen. Pictures do not even come close to the magnitude of what you will experience. If you have the time, get up early and do this. You will NOT regret it. Charlie made sure we had all the required gear to enjoy them safely. Our driver, Nico, did a great job navigating the chaos of Mexico City traffic. Two tips: read all the information carefully, as the hot springs are cash only. They do mention this beforehand, but we missed it, so don’t make our mistake! Additionally, the trip is bouncy and curvy, so if you get motion sickness be prepared as napping will not be an option. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.

The balloon and tour experience was wonderful. Our driver Sergio and tour guide Saul were professional and fun. The Volare balloon operator knew his stuff! It was worth doing the combination package as each included experience was great. Would highly recommend this tour.

The hot air balloon ride was fantastic and the pilot was excellent. We flew over the pyramids which we then visited later. The tour guide at the pyramids was fantastic. His enthusiasm for his subject was infectious and provided a really good window into the past.

Excellent tour to the pyramids

We had such a great time at the pyramids! Everything got started on time, and the bus was super comfy. The trip to the pyramids included some interesting facts about the surrounding area, and it was all well organized. The highlight of course was the pyramids and surrounding area. Laura was an excellent guide who spoke very eloquently and thoroughly about the history of the people who lived there. Josefina was also a great guide and Fuelan was a great driver. Bring water and a lunch (or some snacks), and definitely sunscreen. Excellent tour, would highly recommend this company!

Everyone needs a little Lucha Libre in their lives to blow off some steam from time to time

This was incredibly fun. We began with our taco tasting which was far better than I could hope. We assumed that the tacos would be rather generic but they were some of the best that I’ve had. Then it was time for the educational part of the evening and our guides not only gave us a great history lesson but also taught us how to participate through the use of some very colorful Spanish phrases which I won’t repeat here. The matches themselves were as colorfully over the top as you could possibly hope for. I highly recommend this for one of your evenings.

The tour was excellent....

The tour was excellent. The balloon experience itself was amazing and well organized. Issa and Zari enjoyed it. Our son enjoyed the fire heating the balloon :) The pickup from the hotel was convenient. The breakfast at the caves was nice although it seemed a little touristy. Issa and Zari liked it. Issa ate lots of yummy bread. Zari had some of the chiliquiles. The stop at souvenir shops was educational. And the pyramids themselves were amazing although we could have used a little more guidance before we went in as we missed some sites. Issa and Zari and Dada climbed up the pyramid of the moon.

A definitively if you are visiting Mexico City!

Very fun experience! We danced, we joked, we drank, we ate, and we made new friends! We were the loudest trajinera around and everyone was looking at us a bit jelly! I totally recommend it if you want to have a good time while visiting Mexico City. *One thing about the food though, they were tacos (4-5 per person if I remember correctly), we made a stop to go to the bathroom and I left 2 for when we came back, but when we returned they were gone :(. Luckily, we had a snack before getting into the trajinera, but we were drinking a lot so I wanted my tacos lol but everything was amazing!

Transportation to and...

Transportation to and from our hotel was a breeze!! Once there coffee was served and we were on our way within 20-30 min. The scenery was beautiful and the whole balloon trip was surreal!!! The staff was always courteous and professional. After the ride we were treated to breakfast and a Mariachi band … I would highly recommend this excursion to anyone !!!

Really made our honeymoon

Thoroughly amazing experience throughout, we felt well taken care of by all staff right from the hotel pick up. The flight at sunrise was breathtaking, you get a good amount of time afterwards to look around the archeological site, and we also enjoyed the mezcal tasting. The cave was a cool location to eat breakfast afterwards and service was good, if the food was a bit forgettable.

Allen & Leo were amazing. We felt safe the entire time Leo drove. Allen was very friendly. He smiled and answered questions throughout our time with him. The balloon ride was stunning! The ride was smooth and we took beautiful shots ourselves, and the video/picture package was absolutely worth it! Breakfast at the cave was yummy. I opted for the mushroom and cheese omelet. We had Mexican coffee and sorrel drink. The stop at the local space was cute. Learned about obsidian and various minerals and had a few tasting. The pyramids tour was educational. Remember to bring your sunblock, hat, & water! The stairs are high and steep if you choose to climb/descend. Our guide was knowledgeable Will recommend this tour especially with Allen & Leo as our guides!
