Fantastic tour to see...
Fantastic tour to see Flamingos and other animals at Celestun. Our guide Sergio was very knowledgeable. Please note that the tour said it’s maximum 6 travellers but we had around 12 people on our tour, it’s just that each boat only carries 6 people. So we were temporarily separated from our tour guide for some parts of the boat ride (not the flamingos time), but our boat driver was also knowledgeable in spotting birds and wildlife. The beach afterwards was nice, but unfortunately windy the day we went. We had 3 hours of free time there which was more than enough. The food was very good and there are bathroom facilities, but didn’t see any showers. There’s also a pool there and sun loungers.

Great small group tour to Chichen Itza. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, and it was great that we got to Chichen Itza early and were at the front of the line to get in and experience it before all the rush. We also got around 1 hour of free time there so I’d recommend asking your guide where to go as the time can pass quickly and the area is quite big. Our tour guide also introduced us to a family of local Mayan sellers he’s known for a long time, but there was no pressure to buy anything. He was also a very safe driver. We enjoyed an amazing cenote in a family home, it’s off the beaten path so it was only our group there and it’s very beautiful. Then enjoyed some nice food made by the family and had some free time in Izamal to walk around. Highly recommend this day tour from Merida.

I was sceptical about how...
I was sceptical about how pink the salt lagoons would be but was pleasantly surprised! The official tour guide at the Las Coloradas Park didn't speak much English, but our tour guide stepped in to help with English translation. He also took loads of photos for everyone on their phones. Personally I feel that the beach stop in the middle could be skipped entirely to shorten the day. Then the boat ride on the river was good fun and we had crocodiles come right up to the boat! A fun day and something a bit different if you already have lots of Mayan site tours booked.

You can't miss it!
It was a great tour. Uxmal absolutely stunning, Kebah interesting and the cenote amazing, clean blue water and not too crowded. The 3-course lunch was delicious. Alberto was an excellent guide, knowledgeable and friendly. I totally recommend this tour!

Merida is a colorful, playful city with deep roots in Maya culture. Some of Mexico’s best food is here, with cochinita pibil, panuchos, and sopa de lima among them. But many visitors also use the city as a jumping-off point for majestic archeological zones such as Chichen Itza and lesser-known Uxmal and Kabah. Merida tours allow you to do everything even in limited time—go on a food walk, visit the ruins, and dip in a cenote.
