Our guide Inel gave us lots of information that helped us to appreciate Chichen Itza more than we would have on our own. We had plenty of free time to explore it on our own after her tour as well. The experience at the cenote was magical. The selection for lunch was limited but the food was good, especially the cochinita pibil. We honestly were too hot and tired to enjoy Izamal properly, but all in all it was a great day!

Excellent tour guide, fantastic ruins, great overall experience! The tour guide was beyond kind and was very knowledgeable and patient. The ruins were nearly empty of people so there were lots of opportunities for photos and wandering around up and down the structures. The chocolate museum was unexpected fun- we got to feed monkeys from our bare hands! Would definitely recommend this tour.

Rosendo provided a historical and mythology context to Uxmal giving the architecture and design a different perspective. The tour was informative and promptly we were in Merida by 1pm. Uxmal is a unique atmosphere with many trees and a peaceful scenery.

Mauricio and Jorge gave us such a stress-free and fun experience! Mauricio was so kind and made sure we enjoyed our time while also relaxing with no worries. He was so knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the history of cenotes. The transportation was clean and smooth. I highly recommend this tour for anyone! My friend and I are two female travelers and we felt very safe and taken care of the entire experience. The cenotes we went to were also very beautiful and the food was great, there were options to relax on a couple of the properties we visited when we weren’t swimming in the cenotes which was very nice. 10000/10 experience, thank you Jorge and Mauricio for treating us as family!

We had a fantastic experience on this tour, and so much of that was thanks to our guide, Diego. He was friendly, knowledgeable, funny, and incredibly engaging from start to finish. Diego took us through a couple of markets, including the huge and wonderfully chaotic Mercado Lucas de Gálvez. Along the way, he introduced us to fruits we had never tried before, let us sample delicious cochinita pibil from a market stall, and guided us through the market as we purchased ingredients for our cooking class. Even though this wasn’t technically a history tour, Diego shared fascinating insights about Mérida’s history and the history of the market, which made the experience feel even richer. After the market visit, we hopped on a Va y Ven bus (my first time riding one, but definitely not my last) and headed to the home of Doña Leo. She walked us through the preparation of a mouthwatering meal that included chicken pibil, chaya empanadas, and more. Everything was absolutely delicious, even for a slightly picky eater like me. Diego and Doña Leo were gracious, patient, and welcoming throughout the entire experience. We spent about six hours with Diego, but the time flew by because he kept us entertained and engaged the whole way. As a bonus, Diego also helped me with my Spanish, even though that wasn’t part of the tour at all. I’m always grateful for corrections and encouragement as I try to improve, and he was kind enough to help. Overall, this was a wonderful tour with a great guide, a delicious meal, and a truly memorable experience. 10 out of 10, highly recommend — and thank you, Diego!

We had an amazing day in the Celestún Biosphere reserve, in summary: - an incredibly knowledgeable and friendly guide (Mauricio/Maui/Meow) and driver, he memorised the 20 guests' names in seconds. Mauricio pointed out all of the interesting wildlife and clearly knew his stuff and cared about the important ecosystem we were visiting - Coatis and many beautiful tropical birds as you leave the bus and head to the boat - exhilarating boat ride that put a huge smile on my face. The boat had a shade screen and life jackets were provided for us all - We saw many birds including Ospreys, various herons, cormorants, vultures, pelicans and we were lucky enough to see about 30 flamingos (these are seasonal so be aware of that!) - short ride through a mangrove tunnel, we saw a juvenile tiger heron, many bright crabs and even a small freshwater crocodile up close! - stopped offshore for a Mayan bath. Don't hesitate, please just do it, the water is beautifully warm and very buoyant. The muddy sand is clean and incredibly fine, you will feel great afterwards, I didn't want to get out of the sea - a beautiful fresh lunch on a quiet beach with some down time to swim/drink cocktails, or just chat with other travellers (about an hour and a half). I had the coconut shrimp which was a very generous portion and extremely tasty with a lovely fresh mango dip. My wife had the shrimp quesadillas and enjoyed them too. - Overall we felt very safe walking along the beach in Celestún, the locals were friendly

Acanceh was our first stop … amazing. The shared history of this time period by our guide Carlos, made it even more special. His love of this land and it’s history is very apparent. The 4 cenotes were a welcome respite after the hike up the pyramid in Acanceh and the short but, hot bicycle ride to the cenotes. Each very different, and unique.

It was great! The guide was super friendly and helpful. He shared a lot of historic information about the areas we visited. It was nice to have some free time in the town so that everyone could do what they wanted. The cenotes were lots of fun and we were given the perfect amount of time to visit each. There was also barely any waiting time between activities. Overall everything was very well organized. Would definitely recommend!
