Xochimilco, Coyoacán, and Frida Khalo Museum
XOCHIMILCO AND FRIDA KAHLO:
We had a wonderful experience on our Xochimilco and Frida Kahlo Museum tour with Roberto and our driver, Josue. Roberto is a warm, friendly, and experienced guide who is originally from Mexico City, and his love for the city came through throughout the entire day.
From the drive itself, Roberto made the tour engaging and informative, sharing history and cultural context along the way. Once we arrived in Coyoacán, we spent time walking through the neighborhood and learning more about its history and traditions. Roberto pointed out important historical buildings, including the home where Hernán Cortés lived while in the area and the church where he married his second wife. We also visited one of the early bakeries in the neighborhood, learned about Mexican food customs and bakery traditions, and enjoyed a delicious churro along the way.
The Frida Kahlo Museum was fascinating and well worth the visit. It is especially meaningful for fans of Frida Kahlo, but it is also valuable for anyone interested in Mexican history, art, and culture. The home itself contains many interesting historical artifacts, as well as original works by Kahlo, pieces and artifacts connected to Diego Rivera, photographs, and other meaningful displays that help bring the period and their world to life.
The visit to Xochimilco was lovely and very enjoyable. Guests transfer onto boats for a relaxing ride through the canals, where Roberto continued to share the history and significance of the area. Along the way, we encountered vendors and musicians, which made the experience colorful, lively, and memorable.
Josue was an excellent and professional driver, and the vehicle was clean, and comfortable. Overall, this was a very well-organized, informative, and enjoyable tour. We highly recommend it!

A definitively if you are visiting Mexico City!
Very fun experience! We danced, we joked, we drank, we ate, and we made new friends! We were the loudest trajinera around and everyone was looking at us a bit jelly!
I totally recommend it if you want to have a good time while visiting Mexico City.
*One thing about the food though, they were tacos (4-5 per person if I remember correctly), we made a stop to go to the bathroom and I left 2 for when we came back, but when we returned they were gone :(. Luckily, we had a snack before getting into the trajinera, but we were drinking a lot so I wanted my tacos lol but everything was amazing!

Early Morning Start is Worth It
The early morning start was well worth the time spent at Tolantongo. Less crowds and more relaxing moments. We also went on a Monday, which was probably better. The drive was about 2.75 hrs one way. We had a good tour guide and driver. There were 6 others in our group. Perfect size group to make it a wonderful experience. Just know there is no bathroom stop on the way there, but there is one on the way back.

It visited all three...
It visited all three famous attractions close to Mexico City. The tour guide was really nice. However, the restaurant they arranged might not be the best. Therefore, you can find some restaurants next to them with a more reasonable price and better attitude.

Lovely day
This was a good taste of Teotihuacan. The cave breakfast was a nice way to meet fellow travellers and a lot of food. The tour itself was good, just the right amount of info. Our favourite was the last pyramid, feather serpent, so glad this tour included that!

Totally worth
Kickstarted my solo trip to Mexico City with this tour and it was 100% worth it. Our driver, Chacha and tour guide, Adrian were an amazing team. Tolantongo and the drive there is super scenic. Adrian knows his angles if you're looking for that perfect instagram shot. The hot springs were super relaxing. If you're into more adventurous activities, there's a zipline and cave exploring. This was a life changing experience and I can't say enough about how welcome I was as a solo traveller. I also really appreciated the thoughtfulness in providing a whole setup with headlamps, phone water protectors, towels, etc. Definitely request Adrian and Chacha as they'll take fantastic care of you.

Best Tour Experience
Miguel was an absolute 10/10 guide for our Teotihuacan visit. From the moment we arrived, he was attentive and genuinely looked out for our group, making sure we had water and snacks throughout the day (which you will absolutely need out there in that sun). His knowledge of the pyramids was impressive and he shared it in a way that was engaging and easy to follow, not a rehearsed lecture.
The driver was equally great. Anyone who has navigated Mexico City traffic knows that smooth, safe driving is not a given, so that alone deserves a shoutout. We felt completely at ease the whole ride.
If you’re planning a trip to Teotihuacan, book with Miguel. You’ll be in great hands.

Edgar is a great guy!...
Edgar is a great guy! Funny and knowledgeable. Spoke English (and Spanish) very well. Kept the tour interesting by giving us cool facts, but we also had a chance to explore and walk around freely and all that. The drivers are great too. It’s nice to get picked up and dropped off in the city.

Xochimilco & Coyoacan, Sí!!!
Sarai is totally delightful and very knowledgeable. We especially loved our boat ride at Xochimilco -- so calm and relaxing after the hour-long drive through crazy Mexico City traffic! Also was a really good thing to start early in the morning while it was still a little cool.
Coyohuacan is charming, and I could definitely spend more time there. The Blue House gives a good idea of what Frida's (and Diego's) life was like, although it was quite crowded and difficult to see all the exhibits due to other tourists blocking the way.

Judith was a very good...
Judith was a very good driver. Very responsible, and she got us there fast both ways. Our guide Alicia was also fantastic. This is our third time for two of us in Teotihuacan and we Alicia showed us places we had never seen before. We came back home very impressed by the whole experience.

The perfect private tour to the pyramids!!
Our trip to the Pyramids was amazing. Our guide Angel and our driver Regina were excellent. Angel was unbelievably knowledgeable and passionate about the history of everything we saw. The tour was comfortable and professional from beginning to end. Thank you Angel & Regina!!!!

Really Fun Experience in Mexico City, Highly Recommend!!
This was a really fun Experience! Alex and Leo were great tour guides and showed a fun cultural experience I'm not sure you can really experience anywhere else in the world. The night starts off with some drinks, and I 100% would partake if you do, then we headed to the wrestling colosseum. Overall a really fun night and experience!
