Explored the temple area with friends and our guide Tania. She is a great guide, very accommodating and knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour with her to any of you. There is a lot of walking so bring good shoes.

Perfect day trip! We had a great, fun, and engaging tour guide (Tanya) who gave us an in-depth tour of the pyramids and a local cave. Lunch at a local restaurant was delicious and then we visited a local stone artisan shop and then got a tour of the artists at work and met Mexican hairless dogs. Highly recommend this tour!

We had a fantastic day. Tan is a terrific guide, very knowledgeable, very fun, always prepared with snacks and water. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. It was a highlight of our Mexico City visit.

Highly recommend this tour! We were undecided if we wanted/needed a guide and are so glad we decided on it. The knowledge and history provided was very helpful and interesting to learn. The cave was very cool and the lunch was fantastic!

We had a great time and learned so much from our guide. If we did the sight on our own, it would just looking at mounds of rocks. She was so kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. The lunch tasting was delicious too.

Lots of walking and stair climbs but it was at the perfect laid back pace. Our guide, Tania was amazing, both knowledgeable and friendly. The food and snacks were a great bonus on the tour.

Tania is amazing! Super nice and professional and knowledgeable. The time spent at the pyramids was perfect, the caves were so awesome, and the lunch was super delicious. Lastly the market at the end was cool too. The Xolotl dogs was a great surprise. Def worth the money and would recommend this to anyone.

The pyramids are amazing, of course, but what really sets this tour apart are the caves. Damien‘s knowledge and enthusiasm puts this tour at the top of our list. He was also super attentive and supportive. The margarita tasting didn’t hurt either.

Don’t miss this tour! I spent hours looking for a tour dedicated to learning about the archeological site, its history and that dedicated an adequate amount of time to appreciate this marvelous site. Well, this is the one! With Tania you will get her undivided attention, as this is really a private/small group, and all her knowledge about the topic. Besides the visit to the pyramids, Tania takes you to underground caves, and a Mexican meal, where you will try different dishes and spirits. And last, the stop at Casa museo de piedras was great. Here you can get certified stones and silver, plus learn about the Maguey, one the agave plants. Hope to meet Tania again soon!

Our tour guide, Tina. Thanks for making it an interesting tour. We had visited the Antropological Museum prior, and our tour guide were able to connect to this very interestingly as we climbed the rocks :).

Well curated experience with historical overview of the pyramids, caves, Mexican food, and a nice gift shop at the end. Food options were accommodated to dietary restrictions. Tania was a great tour guide who ensured we had sufficient number of bathroom breaks, toilet paper, coffee, and even brought us our purchases when we forgot them in the van! I think it's great value for the cost. Highly recommend!

Our tour was cancelled without notification. I don't know whether this was the tour company or Viator's "fault", but either way we were left standing at the starting point at the crack of dawn and had to call the company to find out.
In the end it turned out to be a blessing in disguise, we got a Didi/Uber out to the ruins and back for a fraction of the cost (~400MXN) and used a smart guide app to do a self tour (though you can easily get a guide at the ruins if you'd prefer).
After the ruins, we had a 'cool' meal in a cave - La Gruta, which is waking distance from Teotihuacan.
We even added the Mexicable on the way back to get something else in, and all of the above worked out much cheaper than doing this tour!

Super friendly and helpful guide, happy to answer questions and take photos for you. The food and drinks tasting was great.

Tania was an AMAZING tour guide for Teotihuacán! She gave us a clear meeting point and made sure we had blankets for the morning when it was cool plus water and snacks for us as it got warmer. She showed us the pyramids, the details and the gods, how the pyramids were laid out, and why the site was structured the way it was. She guided us through the museum and pointed out some artifacts she had mentioned earlier, then showed us sacred caves with modern and older religious meaning. On top of that, she had curated a five-course lunch with drinks and dessert which was incredible -- followed by a visit to see various minerals (including obsidian) and to taste various drinks (pulque, mezcal, pistachio liqueur). The tour was superbly organized and a delight. Much thanks to Tania: she was GREAT!

This tour went beyond our expectations. Tanya was incredibly personable, fun, prepared and well-informed about everything she showed us. We learned so much and had a REALLY fun time with her. We felt absolutely taken care of. This tour with Tanya was the highlight of our entire trip to Mexico City. Thank you Tanya!

This tour was wonderful. Tania truly thought of everything we may need for a day exploring Mexico's history from blankets and coffee for the early morning drive to the Teotihuacan archeological park to water, umbrellas, sunscreen and snacks for the 4 hour walking tour to helmets and flashlights for the cave exploration. Every detail was thought out and Tania passionately shared her knowledge of Mexico's origins with us. 10/10 recommend

Great tour if you want to get a thorough understanding of the pyramids and experience the local area's geography and food. It's and intimate and fun way to experience a truly awe-inspiring archeological site.
- This tour is great for parties that prefer the smaller group/party instead of the large tour buses. The itinerary is very thoughtful; you'll spend most of the day at the pyramids. There is a stop at a workshop to discuss the dogs, agave/mezcal and minerals local to Mexico, but there's no pressure to purchase anything.
- Tan is a knowledgeable guide, very familiar with the site and can answer questions.
- This tour sweats the small stuff, in the best way. The itinerary online is very detailed, which gave me a lot of comfort in what to expect. Tan made sure my friend and me were comfortable on the ride out and back with blankets, coffee and snacks, she had sunscreen, water and umbrellas, there was always toilet paper available and restroom stops were always noted. She even moved the car when my friend mentioned her ankle would sometimes get irritated, just so we would have a shorter distance to walk back.
- Super glad to have a thoughtfully planned and delicious lunch!

Tania is a FANTASTIC guide - knowledgeable, personable, and muy divertida! Her presentation throughout the tour was engaging and really highlighted the ingenuity of the Teotihuacános. The cave was incredible. The food was incredible. The market was incredible. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The tour went very well, I enjoyed the visit and learning so much more about Teotihuacan. Tania was a very knowledgeable tour guide about the site, as well about other its context with other cultures and sites in the region. The pickup & dropoff went well and there was excellent communication. The arrival time was good because we were able to enter some of the sites before most large groups had arrived. Having a tour guide was helpful since the site has limited placards about the different important components. The caves were a nice addition, be prepared to get a bit dusty! I’m glad the tour provided safety helmets to enter the cave as there are some low points where it’s easy to bump your head. The meal was delicious, and they accommodative to my dietary needs well (e.g., no alcohol). Overall, I would recommend this tour to others!

Tania gave an amazing tour! She is very knowledgeable with the history Teotihuacan. She is also very friendly. After the tour we were treated to a delicious 5 course meal with drinks. 10/10 would recommend this tour.

This was a very well organised tour. The guide was very knowledgeable & spoke both English & Spanish. The cave experience was amazing & the lunch was personally planned by the tour guide & was high quality with drinks personalised for each course. It was an exceptional day & my cave experience was enlightening.
Denise_J, Aug 2024
Tania gave us a great personal tour of Teotihuacán. It’s definitely worth it to get to the pyramids early ahead of the crowds and the heat. The lunch was also good and filling. I also liked that she was prepared with helmets and flashlights for the cave portion. Overall a worthwhile experience!
Amanda_H, Aug 2024
The guide Tania was super friendly and knowledgeable. She chooses the best time to start the tour and has all the logistics figured out. Gave us all the amazing information on the history of the location and took us to the coolest spots. She was also super helpful when my boyfriend was feeling sick and took great care of us. Thanks again Tania!

This tour was wonderful! Our Gide and driver were lovely and provided all the things we needed to be hydrated and happy all day. Excellent history lessons at the pyramids. The caves were a beautiful addition, lunch was delicious, and the artisan market had beautiful handiworks to purchase. Highly recommend!
Martin_R, Aug 2024
It turned out to be a private tour for 3 of us. Tania was great, she was informative, talkative, and had drinks and snacks for us. Getting to the pyramids when they opened was the way to go. Felt like we had the place to ourselves.
Cave experience was a nice surprise, glad Tania had helmets for us.
The food tasting was perfect to try many Mexican dishes we would not have ordered.
Thank you Tania.

The tour was excellent, Tania was very knowledgeable and friendly. I Would definitely recommend booking with her. Sites were amazing and lots of walking so wear comfy shoes. The food selection for lunch was perfect, we got to taste multiple local dishes and drinks that were delicious.

I honestly could not recommend this tour anymore. Our tour guide Tania was absolutely amazing. So kind, so informative, and also extremely fun to talk to. She gave us such a thorough tour. We started early in the day so the weather was gorgeous. This was absolutely the highlight of our trip not only cuz the amazing culture here but also the whole experience Tania provided for us. Will absolutely recommend to all my friends.

They canceled my tour without informing me! I turned up at the pick up spot 30mins before departure time. No one showed up, when I called they told me it had been canceled and I should have received an email. I did get a refund email about 8hrs later, which has now been processed. This cost me time and extra cost to quickly rebook a lesser tour as it was all I could get at such short notice. I still haven't seen a cancelation email (yes I checked spam)t.
