Lots of fun to learn a bit about the gory history of Madrid! And at the same time you get to see a some of the center. Very nice walk and our guide Xime was excellent.
The best tour in Madrid if you are looking for spooky facts, horror stories and murder. My guide was great, even speaking about possession and summoning the devil!
Jimena was such a friendly and sparky story teller. She was easy to listen to as we saw some obscure sights that would definitely have been missed without her.
Nicole was our guide- exceptional guide, 5 stars!! We had a lot of fun, the stories were entertaining, the route not to long and Nicole is a great storyteller.
This was a VERY INTERESTING tour. We were a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens). Silvia was out tour guide and she is FANTASTIC! Very energentic, knowledgeable, and approachable. She always kept my children interested. We highly recommend this tour and Silvia.
We went on a tour with David, the tour was really interesting and David had a lot of information and storys. He kept it fun and entertaining for everyone and even played a murder mystery game. Would definitely recommend him and will definitely be booking some other tours with him if we ever go back to Madrid!!

Took the tour with David Cebolla, and it was an incredible experience. We learned about executioners, ghost stories of burnt churches, incest and murder, demons, and a murder mystery. David had great monologues that captured the essence of the characters he talked about in the dark macabre history of Madrid. 10/10 would highly recommend.

If you’re looking for something unique and memorable to do in Madrid, Madrid Oscuro: Torture, Ghosts, Crimes and Legends is an absolute must—especially if you get Lidia as your guide.
She was hands down the best guide we’ve had on this entire trip. Lidia is an incredible storyteller—she doesn’t just rattle off facts, she brings everything to life in a way that keeps you completely locked in. Somehow she managed to keep both of our teenagers fully engaged the entire time (which says a lot), and my wife and I were just as into it.
She’s clearly super knowledgeable, but what really sets her apart is how fun and interesting she makes everything. The pacing, the energy, the way she builds suspense—it all just works. It felt less like a tour and more like being pulled into a series of fascinating stories around the city.
We’ve done a lot of tours, and this one—with Lidia—was easily our favorite so far. Highly recommend.

The key ingredient to our night of fun was our marvelous guide, Nicole! She quickly brought a bunch of strangers together, had us laughing and talking and learning about stories you've never heard, but connecting and weaving an interesting narrative that compliments spanish history, arts and culture. I had planned to take a historical tour prior to this one, but that tour cancelled. Even without the background, Nicole filled in enough history and context to bring light to her stories. Seriously, if you want a tour that has you laughing and being light while wandering Madrid's mysterious past-sign up!
This was a fun tour learning about some spooky history of Madrid. Our guide Julia was a great source of information and made it a fun group experience!

Fun tour going to different sites and hearing the obscure dark stories of the paat. David was especially fun since he's in theater and acts out the characters a lot. There definitely is some memorable stories to share in the future.

Fun evening experience. Ana was engaging and informative. It was a great time. I enjoyed the stories and the history. The recommend tip/collaboration is $15, she does accept some form of electronic payment but cash is easier.

This was a highly informative and engaging tour, with a very funny and intelligent guide. Paul appears to enjoy what he does in this capacity. Due to his interest in history, he made the overall experience extremely entertaining and enlightening. The entire time, we were either 100% engrossed or laughing at his stories and reenactments. Because of all of this, we chose to give him a nice tip to show our appreciation. It was a free tour and we thought that he went well above and beyond for this experience. The 2 1/2 hours flew by and we didn't even feel as if we had walked around the city!
This was so much fun and so interesting! Our guide, David "Onion" was very engaging and well informed! Our teenagers loved it, too! Wish we had time for another tour here.
