A whale of a time (Even tho no whales)

Aloha! Even tho my nephew and I did not see whales, we saw flying fish, a turtle and dolphins. The crew were amazing and funny as H! We were on the 10:30 cruise Sunday March 29th-I’m givi g date n time because I do not unfortunately remember their names but they were great. Kind of made up for not seeing the whales but assured us for a freebie o the next trip which I will honor in February 2027. Mahalo

Mauka Warriors Luau offers a lot of different entertainment while you’re waiting for dinner and the show to start. The buffet had a wide variety of foods that were delicious. Staff was also very friendly. Cousin Greg was the MC for our bus ride to and from Waikiki and he made the trip fun. My only suggestion would be to have the pick up and drop off location at the Twin Fin instead of the Marriott because of having to walk out into traffic to board and exit the bus at the Marriott.

An incredible experience...

An incredible experience overall! Ula and Jeremiah were amazing guides, incredibly knowledgeable, funny, and considerate. We felt safe the entire time from boarding the boat, to entering the ocean, and getting back to the docks. Immediately saw manta rays inches from our face which was one of a kind experience! Would bring go pro or underwater camera if able to manage. Consider booking a later time if want to avoid younger children. Would also recommend bringing something warm to throw on after exiting the water. Would come back to Island just for this again!

Depending on how much time you plan on going through each place, it can be a little down time waiting for tour buses to pick you up. Bring your own healthy snacks and drinks. Not a lot of options for food choices or drinks. I really enjoyed RoRo and all her knowledge of the island and her spunky attitude.

Great show, great food, great seats, great fun

Exceeded my expectations. I thought we'd ride a kiddy train like we did years ago on the pineapple plantation years ago, but it's an adult size train and lots of fun. I was worried about not being able to get the gold seats, but we had great seats in the general seating. We could see, hear and participate in every. The food was delicious from salad to desserts. I have allergies and the chef met me and told me what foods I needed to avoid. A plus, there were fresh flowers at the tables and pictures before and after the luau. The luau was amazing!!!!

Very well managed. Safety was top priority with all crew. Highly personable. Expect to get wet either due to rain or some splashing from waves so important to bring water proof jacket or maybe poncho. If you get motion sickness you should follow the directions on taking Dramamine the night before and the morning of with no coffee. It worked for me but I also do not get motion sickness but too young adult females did at the end of the trip and the staff really took good care of them. Love that everyone was local and the Capt had a personal tie to napali coast by ancestors really felt the "Mana" from them. Highly recommend.

Beautiful

We enjoyed snorkeling at Coral Gardens since it was too windy for our original spot. The water was chilly but we saw beautiful coral and fish. We whale watched afterward and saw a baby whale breech out of the water several times. Food was great- grilled burgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken and chips. We enjoyed cookies too and breakfast when we boarded in the morning.

Would definitely recommend taking this trip with a guided tour. Ariel our tour guide for the trip was so outgoing and gave us a great briefing along the way about Pearl Harbor and the Hawaiian culture and history. Was my first time in Hawaii and learned so much just by taking this tour.

Really lovely evening

They had to move it indoors because of the weather but it didn’t stop them from putting on a great show. They were energetic and gave us a great history lesson:) the food was so good, especially the kalua pork:) our table guests were very nice. The only thing I can criticize was the sound quality. We had no idea what the lady telling the stories was saying most of the time. We knew we wouldn’t get a fire show inside BUT after the performance they did give us a fire show out towards the lobby. It was really cool to see the dancers talents

Excellent Luau Experience

Toa Luau is such a fun way to experience traditional Hawaiian culture and history. The staff as a whole is excellent, and made the night very entertaining and enjoyable. Food and drinks were excellent as well. Definitely one of the highlights of the trip and I can’t imagine a luau being much better!

An exciting open air tour...

An exciting open air tour of the most beautiful parts of Kauai. Not for the faint of heart though, you really feel the rush from the prop. We had a radio sound issue which made it difficult to understand the pilot as he gave us the tour. Our friends in the other chopper did not experience this. It was a tight fit in the front of the Huey compared to other doors on trips I've done.

Free Parking and validation were easy. We enjoyed the cultural pre-show activities and flower leis. The host was exceptional and the young dancers were spectacular. I’ve been to a few luaus and would do this one again. One of the highlights was after the lighting of the torches along Black Rock, the man lighting them did a beautiful swan dive into the ocean. The food was plentiful and a large variety. Even my 10 year old went back for seconds.
