Worth the price!!

We had Chris and he was very knowledgeable and funny!! We had a great experience. One of our guest was showing signs of elevation illness and he genuinely cared about their wellbeing and ensured everyone was enjoying themselves. It is very cold!! Make sure you bring layers. The coats they provided were very cute and warm. Perfect for the pictures! Highly recommend!!

Highly recommend Valley Isle Excursions! Everett and Justin were fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience seamless from start to finish. Everything was exceptionally well organized, from the early morning pickup and logistics to the sunrise experience itself. Watching the sunrise at Haleakalā was absolutely unforgettable, and having such a great team made it even better. If you’re visiting Maui, this is an absolute must-do. The excursion was very unique. There is a long windy road with one lane bridges. However, it was worth it. My kids and I felt very safe, learned a lot about the island, and seen some very beautiful sites. We stopped off at a small locally owned store on way. They had great coffee, banana bread, any a lot more. Also, the property is beautifully landscaped. Our driver was very personable, accommodating, and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend.

Great Tour Guide

We loved our Tour and tour guide! Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and made our trip so much more enjoyable. We’re able to pick two activities to participate in. We hiked to the waterfall and swim. Then we took a kayak up the river to the third bridge.. Wonderful food was available at each stop.

A Definite Must-Do

Definitely a great idea to take the road to Hana with an experienced tour guide! The switchbacks and the beautiful scenery would have made it difficult for an inexperienced traveler to navigate. Jerry, our driver/guide, was a great! He was knowledgeable and personable - made sure we all got questions answered and needs met. Only hiccup was a delay in our pickup due to an accident on the road and some guests being late to their pickup but that is not the fault of Maholo Tours at all. They were texting me updates as to their ETA and even the driver called to apologize and give me his arrival time. Great trip! I highly recommend!

Levi made our Road to Hana tour fantastic. My husband, three sons (16, 15, 14), and I loved the day, hitting all major stops and starting with a hike on the Pi'ilani trail. The Road to Hana is amazing, and having Levi as our guide allowed us to relax and enjoy the beauty without the stress of navigating the challenging road and dealing with local drivers.

The best experience, almost had to cancel because of the weather early AM but the team was accommodating and told me that I could wait and do a flight later in the day. Worth every penny, sights you can only see by helicopter. Our pilot was amazing, very knowledgeable about the island. Smooth ride besides alittle bumps here and there from the wind (to be expected). Got proposed to after the helicopter and an unforgettable experience. If you're thinking about booking, do it!

Loved this tour!

It was such a fun and informative ride. Jeffrey was such an amazing guide. Easy to talk to, very accommodating and overall great guy. We visited some amazing sites and had a awesome time. The only thing I do not recommend is eating at the bakery. The malasadas were good, but not the food. There was a long wait and the quality is comparable to a school lunch. Go across the street to the taco place instead for your lunch.

Corey was such an amazing tour guide, between his constant jokes and attentiveness to making sure our group never broke apart- he truly made this experience worthwhile especially as a solo traveler. He explains so much of Mauis history on the scenic drives and even stopped so we can star gaze, something I’ll never forget. If you book, ask to be with Corey! He’s such a light, and took great care of all of us, took great pictures of all of individually too!

Excellent tour of the island. Our tour guide Ken was excellent. I have been on many tours in different countries. Ken has the most energy. He gave amazing insight to the places we visited. He is funny. He talked to us the entire trip. He was knowledgable. He was an adept bus driver. He even used computer screen shots for some of his stories. Really enjoyed his expertise!
