Great Tao Luau

This was a complete experience, from the pre-show which included Hawaiian games, coconut husking and coconut tree climbing to the delicious food which was served to you rather than buffet style. Not to mention the fantastic Hawaiian show that included Polynesian dancing, comedy and fire dancing. We have been to the Paradise Cove luau twice which we enjoyed but this Tao Luau blew it away. Also this luau was presented by an Hawaiian family which greeted you, prepared the food, served you, performed in the demonstrations and danced in the show. What more can you ask for?

Exactly what I had hoped for ever since I was a kid imagining being able to be a part of a luau in Hawaii. Wonderful experience, plenty of food (and drinks :) ), friendly and personable staff, beautiful hula dancing, music and performing, and lovely (and educational) story telling and singing from the MC for the night. Certainly not cheap but totally worth it. I purchased standard seating and was worried that I might be disappointed with my view but I was not at all. Premium seating was not necessary to be able to fully enjoy and be close to the performance.

An evening luau to remember

This is my first luau and it was an event to remember. Starting with the pickup that was convenient for my hotel and shout out to cousin Tee who was entertaining the whole night and overall good time with a great personality and kept it lively to and from the event back to our hotel. Upon arrival at the luau we received our bracelets as we got off the bus and entered quickly into the event. There was lots of free activities to partake in and even though there was a good amount of people there the lines moved quickly. The temporary tattoos and coconut Leaf headbands were great souvenirs to have. The photographs were also a nice touch they we're good quality and the best part was that they text them to you for you to download and keep. The food was great with plenty of options to choose from as it was all you can eat the chicken and pork were delicious. The show itself was a great performance as all the dancers did a great job . I would recommend this luau to anybody looking to have a good memerable time.

Incredible experience

This was a great adventure. The entire experience lasts around 2 hours, and it’s just the right length of time. The Mantas are incredible and they sometimes swim within an inch of your face. There were underwater go-pros to rent, which made a much better quality video.

We had an amazing Road to Hāna tour! Our guide, Lepa, was absolutely fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience so enjoyable. We learned so much about the island, its history, culture, and the beautiful places we visited. Lepa took us to the best stops along the way, and every view was more breathtaking than the last. The scenery was absolutely spectacular, and we never felt rushed. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Maui. We highly recommend this tour, especially if you have Lepa as your guide!

I am so happy we booked with Island Splash Tours, this was the best snorkelling experience I’ve had! Not only did we have the opportunity to see so many turtles during the tour but the guides were so knowledgeable on all the fish as well and had a variety of fun facts to share with us during the experience. It was clear that they loved and respected the ocean and the turtles.

Highlight of our Trip

My wife and I came to O’ahu for our honeymoon and we were really looking forward to this experience. Safe to say it didn’t disappoint! Crew members were excellent and very friendly and we were lucky with the conditions of our trip. Water was incredibly clear for viewing and the ocean was (relatively) smooth for our experience. We saw 10-12 sharks during our time in the cage. If we return to O’ahu again we will definitely come back for round 2!

Outstanding experience!! We went with our kids and my 6y/o isn't a strong swimmer and he was able to enjoy snorkeling, he even use the raft with a glass that mimicks the goggles. He also loved the slide. My other 2 kids said “mom this is the best experience ever”. Youll swim with fish and turtles. They give you enough time. Its a totally unique experience! The crew is outstanding, theyre kind, empathetic and always making sure everyone is safe. The boat has its own lifeguards which are always monitoring. The captain is so hands on and super nice. They even have a photographer on board to make sure to capture those special moments. They can rent you go pro if you decide to do pictures on your own. They provide food from breakfast to lunch. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to book this experience!! You wont regret it!! Even if you've never had snorkeling experience!
