  • Due to strong waves and rip currents, children and less confident swimmers should take caution. Inflatable swim toys are also prohibited.

  • Note that lifeguards are on duty only between Memorial Day and Labor Day each year, as well as select weekends in May and September.

  • Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, non-resident visitors must prebook parking passes via Blinkay—it’s recommended to do so well in advance.

  • The beach is suitable for wheelchair users, with disabled parking, a wooden footbridge, and a beach wheelchair available for use.

  • Dogs are prohibited on Good Harbor Beach from April 1 until September 30.

  • Restrooms, showers, and a food concession stand are all located on site.
