Celebrating my Birthday with the Dolphins
It was very exciting and fun, waiting on the dolphins to jump around and learning Hx of the different sites such old naval ships, wreckage still there after 100 years plus(1922) , he talk anout the islands,,ports, and all the cruises leaving out of Galveston now,the Captain T was amazing and very informative about when to lookout for the dolphins and to keep our videos going on our phones so we wouldn’t miss them in the water and got to stir the boat for a moment like the kids since it was my Birthday celebration this week and everyone sung HB to me!!!

Info packed fun tour
Jen was awesome! Information packed tour - I swear Jen never took a breath, which made the tour very fun and very interesting. I never been to the Galveston County Museum, and that was very cool. The walk around the Strand (which we’ve been to often) was very informative - hearing the stories behind the buildings that survived was great. I won’t walk down the Strand again without remembering those buildings and stories.

Great fun for all!!
A great tour around the harbor with a mix of points of interests and jokes to keep the tour fun for all! Captain Ben did a great job and even let smaller kids take turns “driving the boat” on our way back! Great family outing and got to see baby dolphins too! Go on the early tour and you’ll finish just in time to enjoy lunch anywhere on the seawall!

Galveston’s History
Dr. Sorrel generously provided us with a wealth of information about the history of Galveston. We learned about how people related to one another throughout Galveston’s history prior to and since Juneteenth. We learned of famous people from Galveston and also about people’s everyday lives and experiences. She shared about the unique geography of the island and how people have learned to live with it.

Though some people assume Texas' favorite vacay hot spot is all about the beaches and fun in the sun, these Galveston tours can help you unlock some of the city's historical intrigue, which was once a bustling immigration port considered the “Ellis Island of the South.” Take a spooky tour to learn of the ghosts that are rumored to haunt the island, a century after the US' most deadly natural disaster, or learn about the history of Juneteenth, which all started right here in Galveston.
