What are people saying about Berlin

Mikey is a rockstar
Mikey was absolutely fantastic! We went with a large group via bus and it was definitely preferred for us vs train. Before booking we debated whether or not to go since we thought content would be heavy, but Mikey did a masterful job with story telling and teeing up the concentration camp tour with historical context. We all agreed that the tour exceeded all of our expectations and I would absolutely rebook.
Vielen dank, Mikey and team!

Nikolai Was Superb
We thoroughly enjoyed and came away feeling so much more informed about the Hitler era in Germany after spending a fast moving 3 hours with our engaging and demonstrative tour guide Nikolai.
When questions moved outside of the tour subject, Nikolai entertained those questions and answered effectively and completely
As for Nikolai as your next Berlin tour guide!

Berlin walking tour
Great tour!! So much to see and our guide did a wonderful job sharing so many historical stories and personal asides about what we were seeing.
He also recommended and joined us for a delicious lunch where we had Doner Kebab. We really enjoyed both the food and the restaurant.
Highly recommend

An enlightening stroll in the Berlin sunshine.
This was an excellent walking tour, which Jamie brought to life with his in-depth knowledge of Berlin. Explanations were clear and it was great to learn so much about the city and its history whilst on the move. The terrain was flat and easy for all fitness levels, but there was a short coffee break halfway through. Highly recommended!

A change up
Well, we didn't make the Cold War Wall tour due to our own mistake. However, the tour group was very understanding and allowed us to take the Third Reich tour that afternoon. Will was a great guide so knowable on the subject. We learned a lot and enjoyed our time. Thanks to Will and the tour company for a great day.

Great experience- Excellent tour
This is was an excellent tour. The guide Raffaello was outstanding. He really personalised the tour and has a passion for Berlin and its history. It is well worth undertaking a tour of this nature and if possible asking for Raf. We did this as a team corporate event but this would suite any age or any group. Thanks Raf you were a champ.

Busy Day in Berlin
Our 3-hour private, customized tour with Nick and the driver, Markus, was a great introduction to Berlin history during and post-WWII. We appreciated the context and images that were shared during the tour. Learning about Markus' personal story, the acrobat from east Berlin, was an incredible conclusion to the history tour. The icing on the cake/torte, was ending our tour at Rausch Schokoladenhaus (the chocolate house). We are so thankful for the educational and cultural experience.

Evening dining cruise.
Got a taxi from hotel to boat mooring as wasn’t sure of location. A bit dark getting from the road onto the boat. Needed to use torches on phone. We were a party of 6. Welcomed on board. Service was good. Food and drinks included were all OK. Hard to hear some of the recorded commentary due to conversations on other tables. Never the less a pleasant evening and pleased we booked the trip.

Superb!
This trip is well organized and nicely structured to give Berlin visitors a chance to see and learn about Nazi atrocities without committing an entire day and night. I’ve never finished a tour with as heavy a heart and mind but I would take the tour again…..
Our tour guide Natalie was absolutely superb!!! Deeply knowledgeable, thoughtful about the subject, friendly and helpful to all us non-Berliners with suggestions and logistics.

Great overview of Berlin. Recommend
We enjoyed this tour of Berlin. There is so much history in the city and Jonathan did a great job explaining so much to us. He is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour. While we covered a lot, there is obviously value in travelling again to Berlin to see things more in-depth. In particular, at the end of the tour our time was a bit rushed at the Berlin wall as they were very focused on making sure we made it back to our ship on time. Would have liked to have spent more time there, but do appreciate their attention to making sure we didn't miss our cruise ship. Overall highly recommend this tour to get an overview of Berlin in the time allowed.

A great way to see Berlin...
A great way to see Berlin in a day with a very knowledgeable tour guide, much better than walking all day. Our tour guide was Yael, a 34 year old woman from Israel who had immigrated to Germany a bit over 3 years ago. She was charismatic and passionate with a wealth of knowledge to impart on us. Apparently in addition to being a tour guide she worked the improv clubs as a standup comic and of course supported herself as a waitress. I would highly recommend the tour, especially if you are lucky enough to have Yael as your guide

Really great tour and guide!
This tour is so much fun, so beautiful, and full of rich history. Our guide was from Whales and really had the gift of story telling, because there is so much to learn, and I remember almost everything he educated us on. It’s also great because you meet in Berlin, and take the train together, so for people new to Berlin, it’s nice to have some to guide you to bus stops and train stations. The walk through Potsdam takes you through all the most beautiful sites to see, and you can make a note for things you want to come back and explore after the tour.
Sanssouci Palace entry tickets are sold separately, so make sure to purchase your entry tickets and align it with the end time of your tour, because you end the tour at the entrance of the palace. The sanssouci museum is a three minute walk from the palace, and id highly recommend that one as well! You have plenty of time on the tour to grab water, the BEST gelato, a sandwich, pastry or doner kabob, whatever your heart desires. My advice is, to stay in Potsdam after the tour is over, and really take in the sights! So beautiful. Had a great time.
