George gave us an amazing tour! He was very knowledgeable of the history of Athens and shared so many facts with us we came away learning so much. The traffic was light so we were able to see so much in the four hours booked and had some time to watch the change of the guards. It was a great way to see Athens in a short amount of time while learning about the history of the city.

Great opportunity to see Acropolis/Parthenon along with changing of the guards. Nikolaos was a wonderful guide and very flexible if needed. We had arrived in Athens the night before so we were still “getting on our feet” and this tour was a perfect way to start our time here.

Bill was very knowledgable and provided a comfortable ride, including water. He stopped at several locations to take pictures of spectacular views! I would suggest getting tickets to Acropolis slopes and not necessarily the other paid ticket options. We were able to see all that we wanted to with that one ticket. I would also highly recommend going to the top of the hill that has the small church as we were able to see the most spectacular views of the entire city of Athens. This was part of our Tour.

Although the tour operator clearly explained that our driver was not a licencsed tour guide and would not be able to accompany us inside the attractions we would be visiting I did not fully appreciate the impact that would have on our experience. Wandering around the Acropolis Museum alone was not a very satisfying experience.
What you are paying for when you book this tour is private car and driver. Our driver was plesant and knowledgeable, but I wish we had a guide. To repeat, the tour operator explained the guide situation. It just didn't penetrate my conciousness

We covered a lot of Athens highlights and our driver/guide George was terrific. One item to note is that Acropolis Museum was on our own. If you want in depth explanations there may be an option to add that. Definitely plan to watch the 15 minute video on the top floor because it explains the construction and other details of interest. We did the museum before hiking up to the Parthenon, which I thought was the ideal batting order.
And if you have time, go to dinner somewhere in Plaka district. That place was hopping on Saturday evening!!!

Visiting the best sights of Athens in half a day! This tour takes you to all the major historical attractions, with The Acropolis and Changing of the Presidential Guards the real highlights for us. Plus it was a personalised tour fot just my wife and I, with Cristos, our very own driver in his comfortable Skoda SUV. We enjoyed his commentary, as well as the comfort of this type of tour compared to a standard bus tour with dozens of other travellers.
Our only disappointment, even though the tour description advised of this, was at major attractions like Tge Agora and The Acropolis entry fees were not included, and while we were advised to pre-purchase the Acropolis tickets, we weren't advised to pre-puchase the Agora tickets. We stood in line for around 30 minutes which then reduced the amount of time left to view the site. And those tickets were EUR20 each!
The second disappointment, which again, was made absolutely clear in the tour description was that Cristos was not licensed to accompany us inside the Agora or Acropolis. A paid tour guide would have been an extra EUR350, which we didn’t opt for, however we wandered around these historical sites not understanding what exactly we wew seeing! We saw other larfer bus groups, with a guide and earphones walking around these sights and having them explained in detail. Despite our personalised tour being really lovely, in hind sight, we would have preferred getting a better understanding of these amazing sites.
But overall, we enjoyed our tour and Cristos' professionalism.

We are really sorry that you had to wait in line for the Ancient Agora tickets, it usually doesn't take more than 5 minutes for our guests to enter the site, I guess a large group happened to arrive a few minutes before or there was an issue at the entrance. When you called and informed your driver that there was a long line he gave you the option to continue the tour and return later when it would be less crowded but you decided to wait. He also mentioned that you could stay for as long as you wish but I guess you just didn't find Ancient Agora as interested as you might expected. Anyway, we never rush our guests so if you wanted to spent more time in the site you could but you just didn't want to!
As you mentioned, everything is clear in the description so why were you disappointed? You already knew that your driver/guide won't accompany you into the archaeological site of the Acropolis.
