What are people saying about Athens

Amazing!!
Irrespective if your personal religious beliefs, this is a really wonderful experience.
The scenery is stunningly beautiful.
Whilst the driver, George, negotiated the twisty hairpin bends in the road, our guide, Clement, brought the history and geology to life!
Downside: from Athens it's an 8 hour coach trip (4 hours each way)

Athens sightseeing small group tour
Tour is well worth the money. You don’t have to wonder looking for taxi, they take you everywhere and while visiting historic sites, you also get a history lesson. Guides are wonderful,, accommodating and helpful from start to finish, while explaining along the way.

Magnificent Monastery Tour
This is a very long day but that is the only negative. The land & sea scapes along the way are enjoyable, the seaside meal stops were at quality restaurants, & wow, the three Monasteries , perched like eagles nests on their stone pedestals are unique & magnificent examples of human engineering ingenuity. Incredibly good value tour & not to be missed!

The company was willing...
The company was willing to accommodate separately booked parties so everyone could stay together. Costas, our driver, was very knowledgeable and friendly throughout the entire experience. He took us to all of our locations and was back to pick us up almost as soon as we texted or called. Gave us great local spots to stop at and explore. For lunch, he also took us to one of his local favorite places to eat and it did not disappoint! Next time we are in Athens and need a guide he will definitely be who we ask for! Costas if you happen to read this I want to give you the biggest thank you from Erin, Camilla, Bob, Teresa, Gary and John. Thank you again!!

This was an amazing tour....
This was an amazing tour. The guide was extremely knowledgeable, blending the archaeology, history and culture and connecting it to modern Athens. He was very much a history student and scholar, which we greatly appreciated.
When areas on the Acropolis where we were visiting were more crowded, the guide made certain to either pause or to adapt the plans to ensure that we could see everything.
The second part of the tour was in the Acropolis Museum. The guide provided information and perspective on the exhibits that we would not have gotten if we had visited it on our own. He also selected exhibits that were particularly interesting and/or unique.

Christos for the win!
It was lovely. Christos was extraordinarily knowledgable, answering even very distantly related questions. He was funny and spoke clearly (I don’t hear very well so this was especially noticeable to me), and he was happy to be flexible about the things we really wanted to spend time on and gloss over the things we were less interested in. We had one other couple with us since there were only two of us, and the other couple was great too. We had a lovely time. The van was very comfortable and carried up to six adults and had good wifi. If you have commitments later in the day after the tour, say so as soon as you are picked up because our tour went quite long. We didn’t care at all and were clear that we didn’t have anything else going on that day, but if you have other things scheduled it would be good to speak up to make sure you stick to the schedule.

We had a great experience...
We had a great experience with the bike tour. We did not know Athens before and found ourselves in a wonderful experience throughout Athens City with our guide Nick. A Dutchman who fell in love with Athens. We saw the historical parts naturally, with a fantastic explanation, however we also learned a lot of other things about the city. It is a trip (more than) worth taking.
Do not hesitate to book with WeBike Athens.

Great your of the Acropolis and the Ancient Agora
This was an excellent tour. Our guide was Ermes who had a very good knowledge of Ancient Greek history- the information was about right- neither too less, nor too much. Ermes was friendly and courteous , plus very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommended this tour to anyone who visits tge Acropolis and the ancient Agora

Great way to see Athens and Sounion in a day
We had one full day to see all the important sites in Athens and this was the way to go! Andreas was professional, interesting, educated, and we got a real sense of day to day life in Athens, not to mention a good historical perspective. He drove safely in a beautiful comfortable car, stopped for lunch at a place he spent his youth near, and was prompt and responsive to any other questions or times we wanted to stop for a viewpoint. I misunderstood the quality and dollar amount "stipend" that lunch included, I would have tried more things on the menu. Also it appeared that this was a place that a bus tour could and did stop, and we would have appreciated and paid for something more private and upscale. Nevertheless, it was a great sunny day and wonderful way to see Athens. Good communication before the excursion also, which always helps. Would recommend!

Great tour even in the rain
We took the Acropolis tour and the museum tour with Maria. She was excellent and provided much information we would not have otherwise been exposed to. It rained during the entire tour, but they provided rain gear for all. The Acropolis is naturally very slippery due to the terrain ( hilly and lots of marble), but the rain made it more difficult. Maria was undaunted by the weather and maintained ongoing commentary. She was also very patient and took extra care to assure we were all okay. Great tour even in the rain!

Exceeded my expectations
I ate breakfast before the 9:30 tour- big mistake!! I couldn’t enjoy all the food they gave us, which included large sesame pretzel type thing, charcuterie with three kinds of homemade sliced meat, feta cheese and a delicious cheddar type cheese, wine and raki, fresh grapes (the best ever- so sweet and fresh they popped when you bit them, a beef sandwich called a slovakia or something like that, and lastly a fried dough covered with honey and cinnamon. We had to walk to each place, so went through many different neighborhoods. Besides these two places, we went to a honey and olive oil tasting and a tasting for Greek liqueurs. In the honey and olive oil place, I bought some honey/based creams. Our guide Micki (Nicki?) spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable and nice. Our group of 8 got along very well. Lots of exercise and good food! It exceeded my expectations

Three tours in one!
This experience is like three tours in one! We had a fantastic day with a very knowledgable guide. The first part was a walking tour through the city, then we met up with more people before heading up to the hill to the ruins and ended our day with a tour of the Acropolis museum (which was only the two of us with our guide). I highly recommend going to the museum to get a better understanding of what you see at the ruins site. Tina walked us through the museum and did an excellent job of making the connections between what we had just seen throughout the ruins and the museum exhibits. We greatly appreciated that we were not rushed and that our guide spent extra time with us to make sure we saw everything. Tina's pride in her country, as well as, her love of history and mythology was evident throughout the entire day.
