Simon was an outstanding guide on our bike tour. He shared fascinating historical insights about the places we visited, making each stop even more meaningful. He also took photos of everyone along the way and provided a QR code so we could easily download them afterward—a thoughtful touch. The ride itself was very easy, thanks to the Netherlands’ flat terrain, and the electric bikes were a huge help when riding into the wind. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. It’s a fun, relaxing way to explore and truly appreciate the beauty and history of the Netherlands.

Great activity and worthy tour

Robin is the best guide for your trip to Amsterdam!

I had 2 other Amsterdam guides, and they didn’t even come close to Robin’s tour! Robin was so knowledgeable and shared detailed stories about the history and culture of each place we walked to. You could tell he loves his city and his job. At one unexpected part of the tour, there was a woman who had overdosed. Robin ran to a nearby pub and gave her a Coca Cola and she got her color back. Excellent communication

Giethoorn was lovely and we enjoyed our time there. Regarding this particular tour, that morning public transportation workers were striking, so there was a lot of traffic and our driver was a little late. They were EXCELLENT in communicating his arrival time, giving us more time to get ready in our room (which we really appreciated, because mornings are hard) instead of waiting in front of the hotel.

Highly recommend

Paola was a wonderful guide, hitting the highlights and some hidden gems on a pretty busy day. She was deeply knowledgeable and her obvious love of art and history were apparent. She gets top marks though because my 85-year-old mother is hard of hearing and wears hearing devices that prevent her from using the headsets the rest of us used. Paola conscientiously kept her close and made extra effort to speak so she could hear. My mom often gets frustrated and gives up in crowded, noisy situations but she had a delightful time and was so happy thanks to Paola

Best Walking Tour!

This was the best tour! Dave was educational, clearly a history buff, funny, and so interestingly detailed that he captured our attention. We learned so much about Amsterdam and he made it fascinating. We also learned about the best places to eat, get cookies, French fries and tiny puff pancakes, which we ended up sampling after our tour. So good. I highly recommend Dave as a tour guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with him.

The best way to see Amsterdam

Fantastic tour would highly recommend. Our guide Rissa was excellent. Great knowledge, enthusiasm and just the right amount of health and safety to make sure our group was confident in the busy bike lanes of Amsterdam. If you are debating if the extra cost for e-bikes is worth it I would say go for it. They were a lot of fun and our 2 teenagers love the added tech as part of the overall experience. 10/10

Terrific Tour

This was an excellent introduction to the Netherlands, but pretty tiring for the first day depending upon your arrival time. We arrived at 8 am after traveling for 20 hours and toured 2 hours later. We were very tired but enjoyed our tour and loved getting acclimated to Amsterdam. James gave a great introduction to the history of Amsterdam and tied many stories to the United States and Australia as our group of 5 had people from both countries. He gave us information in detail without being boring and connected history and present life. I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone.

Great activity for a layover!

Our guide was very knowledgeable and kind. He had a bigger group to deal with amidst all of the traffic and such, and he handled it efficiently and still with kindness and good humor. 🙂 You will definitely want to make sure everyone is comfortable on a bike! Biking in Amsterdam was probably the coolest way to see it in this short amount of time we had on a layover come up but it did feel like being a part of bike rush hour! The locals bike fest and you are right amongst the other cars and people walking. What an amazing tour and I'm so grateful that we did it! It was our first time navigating our family in Amsterdam and it was easy to find from the station. Staff were all friendly and helpful and the bikes worked great!
