Fab! It was very special to see the sumo wrestling practice. Our guide Tomo went out of her way to make it a very special experience. She could answer all our questions. We got many great suggestions for great places to have some great meals as well.

Great to just be a fly on the wall to get a peak into what a normal day is for a sumo wrestler. This was not a performance, it was practice, and a chance to see the athletes that they are train and battle close up.

Absolutely amazing experience — real, intimate, and nothing touristy about it. Mao was wonderful! Since no one is allowed to speak during the training, she set up a WhatsApp group where we could ask her questions. She answered everything, which made it easy to follow and made the whole experience even more special. One of the absolute highlights of our Tokyo trip — I recommend it 100%!

I took my nephews to Tokyo this past week. Let me tell you..they are extremely playful and full of energy. But when Mao indicated to everyone that you have to be very quiet, they STAYED that way until it was over! It was sooo much fun and I really enjoyed it!

We loved this experience guided by Mao. Our guide is waiting for us at an easily identifiable meeting point and makes sure we are on our way and don't have any trouble on the way. Once there, it is particularly impressive to see the sumo training. The two hours, although spent in silence simply observing, pass very quickly. We are pleased and feel privileged to be able to witness this rare moment. Although it is forbidden to speak during training, Mao creates a WhatsApp group in which she gives us explanations and answers all our questions. In short, we loved this moment and highly recommend it if you are visiting Tokyo.
