This place was difficult to find, on getting to the address I found no one ther, not even the picture on the map. Very disappointing to take my money without providing the service. Shame. I would have to very wary going forward with this app.
Why didn’t post all your guidelines before collecting payment ?

Very entertaining insightful the host speaks good english, you’ll learn about matcha, put a kimono on and make yourself one, even if the taste is not for you a glimpse into Japanese culture by a passionate teacher is still great.

Wonderful session by the host. He very patiently explained the entire history of Matcha, the difference between Matcha and other kinds of teas, how matcha is different from green tea, how to make matcha tea in traditional Japanese style and how to drink matcha. Great learning of their culture. A must visit experience. Highly recommended.

Our encounter with Komei-san during his matcha tea ceremony and kimono experience was simply enchanting. Komei-san's passion for matcha and Japanese culture shone through every moment of our time together.
From the outset, Komei-san was attentive and patient as he guided us through the selection and fitting of our kimonos, ensuring each of us felt comfortable and elegant in our attire. He patiently captured this joyous moment with a photograph, adding to the cherished memory of our visit.
During the matcha tea ceremony, Komei-san's expertise and passion were evident as he demonstrated the traditional art of making matcha with grace and precision. His explanations of Japanese teas, along with the intricacies of tea ceremony etiquette, were insightful and easy to understand, even for newcomers.
We all agreed that what made Komei-san's experience so delightful, was his dedication to sharing the deeper philosophy behind the tea ceremony and matcha, offering us a profound understanding of its cultural significance. The hands-on experience of preparing matcha was engaging and educational, thanks to Komei-san's fluent English and willingness to address our inquiries with patience and clarity.
Komei-san's mastery of his craft and impeccable English proficiency make this experience enjoyable for anyone curious about Japanese traditions. Beyond learning about tea and kimonos, our time with Komei-san provided a brief yet profound lesson in Japan's rich history and cultural heritage.
We left Komei-san's tea ceremony and kimono experience with a newfound appreciation for Japanese customs and a heart full of gratitude. If you're visiting Japan and seeking an authentic cultural immersion led by a knowledgeable and personable host, look no further than Komei-san. We wholeheartedly recommend this experience—it's a true gem in the heart of Japan.
Thank you, Komei-san, for an enlightening and wonderful experience that we will cherish forever!

It was very warm atmosphere during whole workshop. We have known a bit about tea and kimono history. Had chance to wear casual kimono and learned how to do it properly.
Now I know what the difference between green tea and nachts and how to brew matcha appropriately, and also how to choose good matcha.
It was really useful and interesting workshop!

It was my first experience trying the kimono and match tea making. The experience was well planned with presentation and materials. Also liked the good initiative and the intention of the host behind this event. Looking forward to attend other such activities of possible in the future.

Had a lot of learning about tea ceremony, matcha and kimono!
Not like other tea ceremony places, the instructor gave me a lecture about the philosophy of tea ceremony and matcha in details.
Also, experience of making matcha was very interesting.
The instructor was very fluent in English, so it was easy for me to ask questions.
Highly recommend!

This was a relaxed and informative experience. Our host helped us put on special-made easy-to-wear kimonos, taught us the proper way to make matcha, and took photos for us. He also taught us about Japanese teas and tea ceremony etiquette. It’s a very accessible experience for anyone who’s interested in those aspects of Japanese culture.
