Sofia was a great guide and very welcoming. She was very informative of Japans history, and everything was explained well. Weather was not too great in the morning, but cleared up later in the day for exceptional views of Mt Fuji. Overall a wonderful experience.

Great time was super busy...

Great time was super busy but had plenty of time to see and do everything and usually with spare time.

10/10 experience

Hifumi was AMAZING! She was a phenomenal tour guide and was very adaptive as Mount Fuji tours can be unpredictable with weather. We saw more of the mountain than usual and she made sure we saw it from all places. It was a good balance of active, informative and fun.

Fabulous views of Mt Fuji

We enjoyed being with a small group and the guide, Brian, helped make it feel like a personalised tour. Even though the 5th station was closed due to snow he took us to another lake with (pretty aggressive 😁) swans and an amazing view of Fuji-san. The goddess was kind to us and, despite threatening skies, we had fabulous views of the mountain at all of our stops The restaurant we stopped at for lunch was unexpected and the menu a bit confusing but the food was delicious and we all enjoyed sharing travellers' tales over the meal. We could have done without the 8 ponds as it was crowded and quite touristy but other travellers may enjoy it. Really, the only reason I have not given 5* is that the minibus was very uncomfortable on the 3 hour trip back to Tokyo in heavy weekend traffic. Overall a great tour and an unforgettable experience.

The best way to find the best views of Mt Fuji and other beautiful sites.

Our guide, Sofia, was friendly and engaging. The driver was professional and efficient. The whole day was enjoyable. We had almost clear skies, allowing Fuji to bare his head a couple times. The 400+ step climb up to the pagoda was serious, but there was no pressure to stay together, or to even complete the climb, so those who chose to view from below were welcome to do so. We were there at peak tourist season, so there were a LOT of people, but everyone was patient and chill. The ancient trees at the shrine were a highlight. The air was fresh and cool. We had a lovely day.

Overall, it was a great...

Overall, it was a great experience with clear weather, and we were able to see Mt Fuji. However, it would have been better to have more time at the pagoda and perhaps visit it in the morning. We felt quite rushed as we needed to return to Tokyo to avoid traffic, so we couldn’t go up to the observation deck due to the long queues and limited time available.

Great tour

It all just felt super...

It all just felt super rushed. When we got to the stops, we only had 20-30 minutes to walk around and explore, which wasn't enough time with the amount of tourists there in addition to our group. Overall I would have appreciated having more time to really take in the natural sights and buy quality souvenirs, which was impossible with the time constraints.
