We had the pleasure of spending the day at the Heritage sight in Nikko with Siezo, our favourite guide this trip. His English is excellent, he is polite, considerate, spent time and effort creating an excellent itinerary, arranged and paid for all the train tickets in advance, a total joy. Our whole day was an excellent experience, we kept to time and covered everything we had planned for. On any trip to Tokyo, Nikko should not be missed and Seizo would definitely be our choice to spend the day with. Very highly recommend

We had an unforgettable day touring Nikko with Yoshii. From the moment he picked us up at our hotel, he made our family feel comfortable, welcomed, and well taken care of. His knowledge of Nikko’s history and culture was truly impressive, and he shared it with such passion and clarity.
He planned the day perfectly — balancing historical sites and scenic spots — and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. We especially appreciated his flexibility, kindness, and warm personality, which made the whole tour feel very personal and special.
Being dropped off back at our hotel at the end of the day was such a thoughtful touch, and just one example of his excellent hospitality.

This is an excellent way to visit Nikko, the waterfalls and the beautiful temples in the area. Our tour guide, Yoshi, was incredible! Very knowledgeable, friendly, punctual, organized and took care of all the details to ensure we had an amazing experience.

Fabulous experience , exploring Nikko with Kazu, our Government-Licensed Guide ( Tokyo Dept) who is fluent in English and French . My husband and I enjoyed learning about the extraordinary and amazing history and culture of Nikko. Kazu is a wonderful teacher/ guide , who answered our many questions with enthusiasm and patience . It was such a memorable day , and would definitely like to catch up with Kazu again , for another tour . Would definitely recommend Kazu as a high quality tour guide . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent choice if you are trying to avoid the crowd during autumn leaves viewing season.
Yusuke is a professional guide and he kept in contact to find out our preferences prior to the trip & also suggested amendments depending on the weather as well.
Managed to see many beautiful autumn leaves and enjoyed the food recommended as well.
The guide is very customer centric, which makes the trip even more enjoyable.

Our friendly, very informative guide Nobu was very helpful, pulling together a full day itinerary for us ahead of time from the sites we mentioned were of most interest to us. He was very efficient with the transportation logistics of getting from Tokyo and all around Nikko. Throughout the day he provided extensive details of the history and cultural aspects of each site. It made for a very educational and interesting day. At the end of the day Nobu was of great help showing us how to access the right train line for our next day’s activity. We would recommend him to anyone wanting a kind, professional, knowledgeable guide.

We have a good time with this tour even though the road and walk way conditions were not ideal due to snow footprints left from the previous day.
Our tour guide - Mr Nobby is very knowledgeable about the Japanese history and its culture. We had learned a few interesting facts about this Nikko region and very appreciated the nature beauty of this region. We are very grateful to have Mr Nobby as our guide.

We were fortunate to have Mari Noda as our tour guide to Nikko. She was well organized and made the most of our limited time there. It was the perfect mix of nature and culture. We spent the morning exploring the park with views of mountains, fall colors, waterfalls, lakes, and a ride on a ropeway. Mari picked a great spot for lunch where we ate the local specialties of soba and yuba. In the afternoon, she gave an informative tour of Tosho-gu’s gates, courtyards and shrine. We were well taken care of during the trip. She offered to take photos, hailed a taxi back to the hotel, and gave us a sweet treat.

It was an amazing experience with Nobu a very experienced and professional tour operator. It was surely a fun day and would recommend it to anyone. Try and visit in November though when the autumn leaves turn this place beautiful.
