Please arrive 15 MIN BEFORE the booking time, we can wait a maximum of 10 minutes after the reserved time but please plan your journey ahead of time.ALCOHOL consumption before the tour is prohibited, so please be responsible.PLEASE DO NOT WEAR the long skirts, high heel shoes or sandals.
You MUST have an International Driving Permit issued in the format of the 1949 Geneva Convention and driving license from your country of origin and passport. EXCEPT for participants with licenses issued in Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco. In which case you will need a Japanese translation of your license from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF/Online Application for Japanese Translation) and your own driving license. IDPs MUST be in booklet form, not in paper or A4 form.
Please note that International Driving Permits MUST be issued by your countries approved issuer. Some common examples are; Australia – AAA . USA – AAA or AATA. UK – AA or RAC. Canada – CAA

International driving permits that are issued under the Vienna Convention 1968 are NOT accepted in Japan.
Our cancellation policy is below;
Cancel up to 24 hours before the tour start time for a full refund. If you cancel within 24 hours of the tour start time the paid amount will not be refunded.
If your tour is canceled due to bad weather, you will be eligible for a full refund. Or you have the opportunity to reschedule depending on availability.
Due to the nature of operating mechanical parts, when we reach the maximum capacity of booking we may need to amend or adjust bookings depending on kart availability.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure they have the correct/valid documents for driving in Japan, failure to do so will result in denial of participation without the possibility of a refund. If you are not sure, please reach out to us directly and we can help to check if you have valid documents.

We had so much fun on this ride, it was one of our highlights while in Tokyo. We received clear instructions before the ride, the karts were well maintained, and during the ride, the guides made sure everything went smoothly. But mostly, driving through the busy city at night in these karts at 50km/h was just so enjoyable! Recommended!

It was fun the staff welcomed us in we sign our waiver and we pick our outfits/ coustoms and then watched a quick 3 min video showed us how to use the go karts I was the lead kart in front of the car so that was fun and exciting make sure to have ur ID, IDP and passport all 3 are required !! But just listen take ur time it fun we got pics snapped by them as well and ppl did wave and take pictures

This was honestly the best experience I had while in Japan. The staff at Japan Kart were incredibly professional, friendly, and an absolute pleasure to be around. I reached out to them before my booking to request a time change, and they responded promptly and updated my reservation without any hassle. Safety is clearly a top priority—they thoroughly explained all the safety features of the go-karts before we set off. The route itself was fantastic, offering amazing views of Tokyo Skytree and the vibrant Shinjuku district. They also provide a wide variety of costumes to choose from, which made the experience even more fun, and when we returned, they had a great selection of Japanese snacks and drinks waiting for us. The staff are also more than willing to take lots of photographs, and often stopped to help get the best instagram pic! I genuinely couldn’t recommend this experience more—thank you, Japan Kart, for an unforgettable time!

Such an epic experience with Japan Go-Kart! We cruised through the streets of Asakusa, Ueno, and Akihabara—felt like real-life Mario Kart! It was so much fun zipping around iconic Tokyo spots in costume, turning heads and waving at locals. A must-try for anyone looking to add some thrill and laughs to their trip!

Did not get to drive or money back!

Very bad service! It’s hidden text that you need international drivers license! We went 5 persons there and did not get to drive, we didn’t even get our money back!
