Amazing day with Salvina!!

Our chef, Salvina, was absolutely delightful. We met near the market and shopped for fresh cheese and produce. Then we drove to her house in the country where we made ravioli and another pasta by hand, two different pasta sauces and amazing tiramisu. Salvina also offered us her home made red wine and limoncello. All were delicious. Sharing the meal at the end with Salvina was the most special part. A wonderful experience!! PS - we were four people and glad we had a car to get to the country house.

This cooking experience was amazing, Salvina and Angelo were so welcoming to their home. We started at the farmers market, which was an experience that I am so glad we were able to have. Then we went to a lovely farmhouse just outside of Ragusa and cooked a meal with all fresh ingredients, we had a family meal with Salvina and Angelo and Joseph our English interpreter. My husband and I had an experience of a lifetime. I am from Sicilian decent and it was just like being with family, it brought back so many childhood memories. I am glad I was able to share this with my husband who never met my grandparents. This is a must do..
