Overview

Do something incredible when you visit Phoenix. This canyoneering experience will take you places most people never get to go, deep into the red rock canyons outside Scottsdale. Highly recommend Jose and this activity. He was super patient, easy to talk to and geared the trip toward our capabilities. I couldn't imagine being comfortable rapelling into the canyon but he made it easy and we always felt safe. I highly recommend. PS depending on your fitness level you may be sore after 🙃

Our First, but won't be our last Canyoneering Adventure!

This was an amazing adventure from start to finish. I did this trip with my wife and 15 year old daughter. Our guide was Jose, who we communicated with beforehand, and he prepared us by telling us what to wear, where to meet him, and provided us with lunch options. We met Jose at the tour office and drove with him to the canyon, which was about 2 hours away. Conversations were great and we felt safe driving with him. We each received our own waterproof backpack with our gear and supplies for the day. Once we got to the site, we prepared, and then began walking/hiking in. About 1/2 mile in we stopped to really gear up (harness, helmet, gloves, etc. The hike started right away with jumping into the water and we were off through the canyon. The next several hours of hiking we were up and down lots of good sized boulders, slid down rocks, were in/out of the water, had some jumps into the water, had some drops we could choose to jump or rapel, and then had some spots where we could only rapel. We stopped and ate our lunch after a big rapel. Once we were finished, we cleaned up and then headed back to Scottsdale. This experience was EPIC and we would love to canyoneer again, and we wouldn't hesitate to use or recommen Jose. He is very experienced, and we always felt safe. If we get back to the area, we will definitely call him to do this again!

There were 3 of us that had never repelled. Nick made us feel very comfortable and safe since we were all afraid of heights. It was an amazing. Something to check off the bucket list.

Aaron was an expert guide and taught us so much during our day together. My husband and I were repelling down a cliff within 10 minutes of the adventure - it was exhilarating! The scenery was beautiful and the day of adventure was just what we were hoping for. We highly recommend Aaron and this experience!

Best experience ever!! We really did not know what to expect and had zero experience rappelling but Nick’s knowledge, calm manner and expertise led us to 40ft cliff jumps - that I would never had expected to attempt. (Rest assured he also offered many modifications for those not as comfortable). We took a scenic Jeep ride from Scottsdale to Christopher Creek Gorge. The ride was about 1-1/2 hrs but the time went quickly since Nick shared so much info about AZ. We hiked about 20 min to the canyon -which was breathtaking! A few tips- we wore leggings & sneakers, brought a change of clothes & packed a light water resistant jacket. We were grateful for the wetsuit provided, as the water is chilly. So many laughs & memories we’ll cherish forever. This was most certainly the highlight of our trip to AZ!

Outdoor adventure wrapped up all in one! Rock climbing, jumping off rocks, hiking, repelling, swimming. Great day spent with my son. Our guide Jose was terrific, made sure we were always safe. Highly recommend this adventure.

This was our first time canyoneering and we absolutely loved it! Bob was an excellent guide. Exceptionally skilled and made us feel comfortable stepping a little outside of our comfort zone. This is the best way to adventure out and experience the beauty that Arizona has to offer. You will not be disappointed!

Awesome hike and rappelling

Bob was a fantastic guide and gave us options for our experience, challenging/easier. The hike was the perfect amount of challenge and beauty. The canyon was serene and we learned a lot about the plants and animals in and around the canyon. The repelling was fun and challenging but Bob walked us through all the moves and we always felt safe. You should be fairly in shape for this activity as it was a lot of scrambling. Thoroughly enjoyable
